- a week before Chrismas -

Dean walks into Vinnie's room as we are just laying there.

"Hey Syd."

"Yeah?"

"I asked someone out-"

"Who?"

"Uh- remember Dylan?"

"Dylan May or Dylan Douglas?"

"May."

"Well did she say yes!?"

"Yeah she did. We are going out for dinner tonight, but what do I wear?"

Vinnie sits up.

"Do you want my help?"

"Please."

Vinnie and I walk in to Dean's room.

"First off, where are you guys going?"

"That fancy restaurant not too far from here."

"Shit. Okay.."

Vinnie looks through Dean's stuff.

"Perfect."

He throws at white button up shirt at Dean's head.

"Bro-"

"Just try it on."

Dean walks out in the outfit Vinnie picked out.

"Damn Dean. If I wasn't dating your sister I'd smash."

"Bro-" I punch Vinnie in the arm.

"I'm kidding-"

After Dean leaves for his date Vinnie and I go back into his room. I put my head on his chest.

"Y'know, I'm proud of him. He hasn't been on a date since freshman year."

He wraps his arm around me.

"Why is that?"

"He started dating this senior guy and he.. raped him."

"Wait Dean was 14? Dating a senior?"

"Yeah.. I told him it was terrible idea, but he was young and stupid and didn't believe me.."

"How come he never said anything about it?"

"I'm the only one who knows."

"I wonder how he's doing."

"Same."

Vinnie and I walk downstairs to see Jacob and Jake filming a tiktok.

I see a guitar and I sit down at it.

"God, I haven't played guitar in years."

"When did we even get this?"

"No idea, but.."

I start playing She's all I want to be by Tate McRae. Everyone looks at me so I start to sing it to throw everyone off.

"  You want the girl with the small waist and the perfect smile..."

Little did I know after the guys posting one simple video, I'd get hit up by multiple music labels.
