The funeral was huge. Every rancher in Montana was there and even some I didn't know. So many people saying goodbye to my Dad and they are sorry for my mother and me. I was numb, so numb I had to embed my red fingernails into my palms just so I could feel my pain. The air was suffocating me closing in with every person that passed by me. I felt as if I could pass out if my body would move. That's the thing, I couldn't move. I was frozen.
Everyone had said their peace, the paster had spoken, and Luke delivered the eulogy. I didn't even look up when he spoke. I couldn't take my eyes off my father's casket.
Everyone had left or were by their cars but I still couldn't move my legs. Those tears I had been fighting back since the phone call my father had passed began to fall and I couldn't stop them. My body finally said I give and gave into my weakness. I leaned forward holding my chest from the heartbreak of losing my Dad. The only one who's opinion truly mattered to me and sobbed even harder. It was like years of pain was being released.
That's when I heard his deep voice like an angel bent down in front of me. He reached out for my hands and held them. I could feel the sparks pass between us but I still couldn't look up, not like this. Not when I was being so weak.
" Dela Blue I'm here. I'm here." He reached up and wiped the tears from my face and pulled me to my feet. I fell into his chest and he cradled my head so gently against him. He wrapped his arms around me pulling me closer to him. The smell of him was intoxicating I suddenly felt so embarrassed I was ugly crying on his nice suit. I pulled back a little.
" I'm so sorry, I think got mascara on your shirt." I looked up at him he stared at me with worry in his blue eyes but there was hunger and passion there as well.
He smiled ever so slightly, "I've had worse things on my shirt."
Still holding me close to him I couldn't let go it seemed he couldn't let me go either. I noticed we were the only ones left at the gravesite.
"You good Dela Blue, you wanna take a ride before we head back?" I heard him say to me while caressing the back of my hair.
"No one has called me that since you." I smiled looking up at him still breathing in the cologne of his shirt.
" I would hope not, it was always our thing." He stared deeper into my eyes this time while putting his hand under my chin as if to get my undivided attention.
"I'll take that ride, Luke."
He slowly let go of me but took my hand and led me to his truck. He opened the door for me making sure I got in ok. He stopped before closing the door staring into my eyes. He had one hand on the door and one on the door jam as if he was fighting some internal battle. Then He leaned over me so close I could feel his breath on my face. He put his hand on the side of my face and kissed me. I grabbed his neck and pulled him into me deepening the kiss. The sparks between us ignited. It was hunger and passion behind his eyes. It was a wildfire that was getting ready to burn out of control.
He pulled back and smiled at me closing my door. I grabbed my lips still moist from his lips my head was spinning. He had to see that I was a woman about to burst. He knew me. He hopped in the truck and loosened his tie, started the truck, then grabbed my hand. He kept staring over at me not saying a word. I couldn't talk I was so wet and frustrated from our kiss. All words had escaped me. We pulled down a back road I didn't know.
" Where are we?" I asked him feeling like I was in high school again.
"I think you need to relax a little before we head back to your Mama's." He winked at me giving me a smile.
I felt butterflies in my stomach as we came to a stop. The view was beautiful. The road stopped in front of a river surrounded by trees. The sound of the river babbling and the locust singing brought me back to an easier time. The sun was setting on us. Shining into my eyes, it took my breath away. Luke was watching me when he got out and came around to my door again opening it. He unbuckled me and turned me towards him. He was killing me with his blue eyes and brown hair that was sun-drenched from working the farm. His tan made his eyes pop. There was so much burning behind every look I couldn't help but think this was a new Luke.
"I didn't think you'd ever come back, Dela. We have so much to talk about. But I don't wanna talk right now. I just wanna feel you." He whispered into my neck.
I melted with his words and I sucked in a breath. I felt my body aching for his touch. He wrapped his hands around my ass and pulled me forward never taking his blue eyes off me once. He reached under my dress and pulled my g-string off. Before my mind could process what he was doing his fingers were inside me. I moaned and arched my back feeling his other arm wrap around my back to support me.
"Dela you're so wet for me baby you're always so wet for me."
I moaned and bit my lip with words I couldn't contain myself he felt so good. What was he doing to me?
His fingers went faster in and out of my wetness, his thumb went in circles against my clit. I was burning inside, I was burning for Luke.
"Cum for me Dela tell me you want me." I came the minute he spoke those words. He laid his head on my stomach then he pushed my dress up and kissed my wetness. My body shook under his control. I could almost feel him smiling. He grabbed my hand pulling me up to face him we both stared at each other as I grabbed the back of his neck and kissed him. He pulled back from me as I tried to hang on to him. He grabbed me gently on the sides of my face.
"We have to get back now. I'm not going anywhere, Dela." He said as my arms were draped around him begging for more. He knew me. He knew what I needed.
We drove back in silence. He held my hand the entire way and kept looking over at me with that same intensity.
