You needed new clothes and what better idea was it than to drag your boyfriend along with you.
He wasn't a fan of shopping but spending any time with you was considered a good day in his eyes.
So he followed you around the mall like a puppy. He even ended up helping you pick out what clothes to try on.
"Alright princess I'll wait for you here." He gave you a kiss on the forehead before you walked into the dressing room.
You were excited to see what the outfits Eddie picked out looked on you. So you tried the first outfit on but as you looked in the mirror you felt like something was wrong. So you tried the second and then third outfit. It still didn't look right. You felt like everything just looked awful or was way too tight on you no matter how hard you stared at yourself in the mirror or how much you tried to make them fit.
You felt a lump in your throat as you began to put the fourth and last outfit on. Praying that it looked good on you and you could make Eddie happy.
Once again however,it just didn't look good.
Your eyes began to water and you sat down, feeling frustrated and bad about yourself.
Eddie was waiting patiently for you but he noticed it was taking a lot longer than it should have. He stood there for a few more minutes trying to think of some logical explanation but when he walked closer to the dressing rooms and heard your whimpering,he sprung into action.
Worry filled the pit of his stomach as he rushed into the dressing room.
He seen you sitting there crying and immediately went to you
"Sweetheart,what's the matter? What happened?"
He crouched down onto the ground where you were sitting so he could see you and hear you better"Eddie?" You asked sniffling "do you think I'm pretty?"
Eddie answered almost within seconds and without a thought
"Y/n I think you're the most amazing thing I have ever laid my eyes on even better than my guitar."
"You're just saying that cause you have to."
Eddie playfully rolled his eyes like you would often do. It made you smile a little which made him smile a lot
"There's that smile, princess." Eddie said wiping away the last year that rolled down your cheek "and I promise you that I mean every word I tell you. Don't let stupid outfits get you so upset. Personally I think you look better in nothing."
When he seen you roll your eyes like he had just did he couldn't help but laugh.
He sat down next to you and grabbed your hand.
You both sat on the dressing room floor for a few minutes. The silence was somehow comforting and you rested your head on Eddie's shoulder
"Do you think we should just go home?"
You asked and Eddie nodded
"We have to stop at family video first and get a movie. My day with my princess isn't over just yet."
