No one's POV

Pranks. 

Y/n was sick of them. Why? That's because of Kariya Masaki. Every single day he would pull a new prank on her. For example, during soccer practice, he tricked her into getting hit by Tsurugi's 'death sword' which he did feel bad about since Y/n ended up with many bruises but that didn't stop him from pulling more pranks on her.

Right now, he was pulling another prank on her. Well, it wasn't necessarily a prank since it wasn't  bad or anything to harm her. He was just trying to use this 'prank' as a cover up for something.

"And.. done!" Kariya turned the tap off and carried the bucket of cold water over to the soccer field. Right now, Y/n was changing into her soccer uniform for practice. The team were already doing their stretches when Y/n came out. Kariya took off his jacket and wrapped it around his waist, so that if Y/n felt cold, he would give it to her. Shindou told him it would be nice of him to give his jacket to her.

"Sorry I'm late!" Y/n said, running over to the field. 

"No worries, Y/n-san." Tenma said. He then pointed to the corner of the field. "Mind standing over there for me, we're trying a new tactic!"

"Sure, Captain." Y/n jogged to the spot she was told to stand. She stood there waiting for an order. That was Kariya's chance. He tip-toed over to her and carried the bucket of water in his hands. He then lifted it up and threw it at her.  Y/n screeched and hugged herself.

"C-cold!" She yelled. Y/n was now soaking wet. She felt like crying a bit since it was really cold. Y/n turned around to see Kariya smirking.

"Kariya!" Y/n shouted, grabbing his shoulders angrily.

"Hey Y/n~" Kariya smiled mischievously. Y/n glared at him.

"Why would you do this? I'm freezing cold! Not to mention I just got changed, I swear Kariya Masaki I'm actually going to kill you!" Y/n yelled, shaking his shoulders. Kariya began to laugh a little.

"What's so funny? It's freezing cold! I know, why don't I throw cold water at you?" Y/n said. Kariya shook his head quickly and looked around. Kariya remembered about his jacket so he unwrapped it around his waist and put it on Y/n.

"Heh, sorry Y/n! I couldn't help myself, how about we dry off over there?" Kariya suggested, pointing to the area near the cherry blossom tree.

"What do you mean 'we'? Also why ther-"

"Let's go!" Kariya cut Y/n off, grabbing her hand and running over to the place. Y/n was confused but allowed Kariya to drag her there. When they got there, Kariya finally let go of her hand and stepped away from her a little. 

"So how am I going to dry off?" Y/n asked. Kariya stayed silent, looking around. When he caught a glimpse of his friends who had finished putting up pictures beside the blossom tree, he immediately smiled.

"Well, Y/n, there's something I have to tell you." Kariya started off.

"I'm listening.."

"Well, first, look behind you." Kariya said, pointing to the cherry blossom tree behind them. Y/n looked back and her eyes widened. It was pictures of Y/n and Kariya. There was a picture of them  from the first time he had pranked her. It was a small, simple prank. He had put fake and real bugs into her locker which she didn't like. Y/n smiled while remembering that day. There's was also a picture of them when the team went to the beach and Y/n buried Kariya under the sand.

"When did you do all of this?" Y/n asked quietly.

"Don't worry about that, now.." Kariya gently grabbed Y/n's chin so that she was now facing him. He smiled and kissed her cheek.

"I have feelings for you, Y/n. I know that it seems like i don't but I really love you. So please.." Kariya got down on one knee. Y/n's eyes widened.

"Wait is he proposing to me? Before we even became a thing?" Y/n thought

"Will you be my girlfriend? And will you also take this box with a special gift in it?" Kariya asked.

"I.." Y/n's mind was filling with all kinds of thoughts.

"Please.. I swear, I'll be the best boyfriend. Yes, I may still pull pranks on you but that's how I show affection to others, i promise to take care of you and make sure you're doing alright no matter what.." Kariya pleaded.

"I guess.. I also have feelings for you too.." Y/n muttered. Kariya jolted up and held Y/n's hands.

"Really?" He asked. Y/n nodded. Suddenly, a few people, well about 17 people, popped out of the bushes and started cheering. Y/n and Kariya looked to see the team clapping their hands for them.

"Where did you all come from?" Y/n asked, confused.

"I told them all to hide here while I was talking to you over there." Kariya said.

"So you threw water at me so that I wouldn't see them go into their hiding spots?" Kariya nodded.

"Hurry up and get together already!!" Aoi said. Akane had her camera out, waiting for them two to do something. Midori showed a thumbs up to Y/n.

"So will you?" Kariya asked.

"Of course.." Y/n replied. Kariya gave her the box and told her to open it.

"Thank you.." Y/n said, before opening it. Kariya had that mischievous smirk on his face again.

Y/n opened it but flinched when she saw a fake snake pop out of it. She threw the box and stepped back.

"Kariya!" Y/n yelled, but Kariya was already running away from the scene. Y/n chased him for about five minutes before Kariya let her tackle him.
