"What?"
Hendryx just smiled, eyes turning soft as he looked at the twins. "Nothing. Go on and eat." He said.
At time like this shows how compatible the twins are. They both put small portions of rice on their plate, just enough to fill their stomach. A glass of warm water in front to them to help with their digestion.
"Leave everything at the sink, I'll wash it." Hendryx said before standing up.
"There's no dishwasher?" Michaelis innocently asked.
"Are you a dumbass?" Theon spat.
"Hey! Why are you always picking a fight on me?" The younger frowned.
"It's because you say the most ridiculous things at the wrong situation." Cozen replied for Theon. He was reminded of an earlier scene where Michaelis is complaining of walking too far.
"Hmph!" Michaelis just rolled his eyes as he drank his water to finish his meal.
"Kids, stop fighting." Yyan said that made them shut up.
Jethro finished his food and began putting his plate and utensils at the sink. Ytriel is busy gulping every last piece of the rice. Cozen and Theon finished at the same time and even had to play rock-paper-scissors to determine who will put the dishes at the sink. Michaelis finished as well, so did the twins.
When everything is cleaned, they all circle at the sofa again.
Tyrron just whispered something on Yyan's ears before disappearing again. Hendryx insisted on being the lookout, so he is by the door.
"We finally have the permission of the owner— well, the land owner, not the bunker itself." Yyan shrugged. Ytriel put his hand up to ask a question.
"The bunker owner is different?" He asked, earning a curt nod from Yyan.
"Correct. The Bunker Extension #2 is not owned by Tyrron." He said, "But! I can't disclose their information. Not without them permissions, we clear?"
"You call this the Extension #2, how many extensions are there really?" Jaxen is the next one to ask.
"Good question." Yyan said while pointing at him. He grab a random piece of paper lying at the center table and a pen. He started drawing something before showing it to the kids.
"This," he said pointing at something on his paper, "is where we were earlier. That is the Extension #5 aka Tyrron's personal bunker. And this one, is where we are now. Extension #2." He finished explaining.
"If Mr. Tyrron's bunker is the Extension #5, then why there's only four extensions in your drawing?" Theon asked in confusion, even recounting the circles that represents the bunkers in Yyan's drawing.
"That's for me to know, and for you to find out." He smirked.
He saw the children's faces distorted in trying to figure out why there's only four in his drawing.
"So," he clapped to gain their attention, "what's your plan?"
"Plan for what?" Cozen rose his brow.
"Plans. Are you going to do this together, or are 'ya gonna split?" He asked taking the extra seat next to Jaxen. The younger flinched and stiffened on his place. Yyan smiled at him in which he reciprocated with an awkward one.
"We're doing it altogether." Max said with finality after some thought. Jethro turned to him, feeling betrayed.
"Who told you I would?" Jethro said.
"You would." Max said, glancing at him. Jethro furrowed his brows and mumbled a 'whatever' as he sunk deeper on his seat.
"Great. We will protect you for the meantime, until you can do it by yourself. And we assure you, there will be no harm done. There's no foul play. We will protect you because we know what will happen if we don't." Yyan said with his nurturing voice.
