03.13 Bringing Out The Dead
━━━━━━━━━━
AIDYNN DIDN'T WAKE UNTIL TEN THAT MORNING, AND SHE STILL FELT LIKE SHIT. She limped her way down the maze of halls until she found the dining room seating two Original--something she barely registers with all the smells hitting her senses. Buttered toast, orange juice, steaming scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, fresh cut fruit, sweet cinnamon filled the air wafting from pastries, a--
Her mouth drops when her eyes catch the best thing on the table; beignets with a heavy dusting of powdered sugar beside a large pot of coffee. She glances at the people in the chairs tiredly as she mumbles as she slowly sits. "Morning, Klaus, Elijah...Elijah?"
"Good morning, Ms. Parker. How was your rest?"
"Uh, I don't know. I don't even know how I got here, or when you got undaggered, how long was I asleep?"
Klaus chuckles. "Take a breath, love. It's been about nine hours since I found you in the witch house and brought you here."
"And you undaggered Elijah?" She inquires in shock. "That wasn't something I was expecting."
"Nor was my brother." Elijah muses as he sips his drink.
"Damon Salvatore undaggered him, Aidynn."
"Then we had a civil conversation."
Klaus scoffs. "Civil? You put me through a bloody door."
"You put me in a box with a dagger in my heart." Elijah retorts with a challenging brow raise.
"Because you tried to kill me."
"Because you told me y--"
"Children, please." Aidynn chuckles as she snatches a powdered pastry, both their attention narrowing at her. "Glare at me any harder and your eyes are gonna roll out."
"What happened yesterday?"
"Uh, I was eating at the Mystic Grill, I walked out, and then it went black. I woke up in the witch house, insulted some Salvatore's, told 'em about bein' hybrid, witchy headache, and I was stabbed with stakes." She shrugs as she bites into her food.
"That's it?"
"That's all I remember. I think I blacked out from blood loss." She rasps so Elijah pours her some Orange Juice.
"Niklaus, why didn't you give her blood to heal with?" Elijah scolds.
"She told me not to as she was gagging it up, highly offensive by the way, sweetheart."
"Yeah. I-I don't do vampire blood." The ivory-skinned woman nods then sips her drink.
"Why not?"
She glances towards them, both their eyes on her. "I really don't wanna find out what happens if I was to die with vampire blood in my system."
