'ARIANA' ARRIVES AT THE SALVATORE BOARDING HOUSE AT THE SAME TIME AS SOME HUMAN DOES. She gives an awkward wave. "Hi?"
"Hello, who are you?"
"Ariana, who are you?"
"Alaric Saltzman." He states, holding his hand out. "Ric is fine."
"Well, Ric, I assume you're also here for--" She's cut off by the front door opening.
"Have a good day, honey." Damon kisses a strange lady with hair that ends at her shoulders.
"Oh! Hey, Alaric." She side-eyes 'Ariana'. "Strange girl at my boyfriend's house."
"Ariana." The witch grins at the vampire.
"Later." She mutters as she leaves.
Ric raises his eyes brows that the vampire, so he explains: "My new girlfriend. Andie Star, Action News."
"I don't think it's called Action News." She states, shoving into the house past him at the same time Alaric says.
"It's not called Action News."
"Yeah, well, I just like sayin' it. Come on, Witchy already has." He closes the door.
"Yeah, 'cause you invited me over. Duh, dumbass."
He ignores and saunters to the liqour cabinet, the witch and human not far behind as he unwraps something. "So, John Gilbert gave me this to kill Elijah. Said you have to dip the dagger in the remains of any old white ash tree that dates back to the Originals. If there's any truth to that."
"So you think it's a set up?" Alaric inquires as he looks at the fany magic knife.
"Could be. Guy's a weasel. That's why Witchy is here. She touches it, gets a vision, and whoop, an Original free life awaits." Damon half-jokes as Alaric hands the dagger to 'Ariana'. "What'd you see?"
"A dumbass that's name starts with 'D' and ends 'amon'." She hisses at him. "I'm not juju forecastin' it."
"Why?"
"'Cause I can't! I don't use magic like Bonnie does."
"What do you use?" Alaric asks curiously.
"Yeah, what use are you to me if you can't witchy-woo on command?"
