"Give it back!"
I held out my hands for the grimoire that Kokichi was holding in the air above me.

"Huh? Is this shabby book that important to you?
Let me take a look!"
Kokichi grinned and leafed attentive through the old book.

Since he was not much taller than me and now distracted by the book, I managed to snatch the book out of his hands.

"Hey! You're mean Yumeno-chan!"
Kokichi looked at me indignantly.

I crossed my arms and made an pouting face.
"You're the mean one here!"
With these words, I turned my back on him and sat on the nearest bench, in the park where we were.
I opened my book.
Of course Kokichi had followed me.
He sat down, next to me.
I just tried ignoring him by staring at my magic book, pretending to read it.

"Ow c'mon, are you upset now?~"

I sighed while I continued to look at the book.
"Shut up"

"Nehehe, so you are!"
He smiled.

"No, I'm not!"
Usually, it was too exhausting for me to get mad, but Kokichi could really be a pain in the ass sometimes.

"Do you really think, you could hide that infront of me?"
And he was right about that, it wasn't smart to lie to him.

Annoyed, I closed the book now.
"Why are you so keen to get on my nerves?"

"Do you want to hear the truth?"
He smiled, and as I nodded unsure.
His smile disappeared for a few seconds.
Then he grinned again.
"You're so cute when you get angry Yumeno-chan~"

Huh??
I blushed deeply.
"Th- That's the r-reason?"

"Nah I lied, it's just too easy to tease you, that's all.
But look at you!
You turned so red,~ are you secretly in love with me?"
Kokichi laughed.

That was so obvious!
Ashamed and angry, I got up and ran away, hiding my face under my witch hat.
But I forgot to take my book with me.
I only realized it too late.
I stopped, gasping for air.
Actually, I hated it to run.

"Shit..."
That was so stupid, I loved my Magic book but there was no way I could go back.
I didn't wanted to see Kokichi.
That just now, was absolutely embarrassing.
He wasn't even right, because I couldn't stand him!
Nobody of our classmates could.

Whatever.
With an sad expression on my face, I made my way home.
I already missed my grimoire.
Hopefully he won't burn it to grill marshmallows over it or something evil like that.
