It was the last day of school before Holidays.
After the weekend we celebrated my birthday, Kokichi just ignored me.
It was like we were just normal classmates again, like back then when I couldn't stand him at all.
He didn't even teased me anymore, but continued to do it with the others though.
It was like he wanted to distance himself from me, outsiders wouldn't notice, but deep down, I knew it. Even in the moments when I came into contact with Kokichi, he acted like everything was okay, was nice to me and all.. but this distance remained.

I had no choice but to go to school normally, and pretend nothing happened.
And damnit it hurt!

The constant heartache, the feeling of knowing that something was wrong, but not knowing what was going on.

And what should I do?
Today was the last day of school, the last chance to see Kokichi, before the holidays.
I had to do something.
Yeah i had his number but..

I shook my head and got up from my bed.
Okay, i was determined , Today I had to talk to Kokichi.. somehow

The last day before vacation, our school had planned to have a barbecue outside, since it was summer and it was already pretty hot outside.

The heat was so intense, I was struggling to breathe.

"Here" Tenko handed me her water bottle.
"In this heat, it is important to stay dehydrated"

I accepted the bottle gratefully.

Tenko unfolded her lounge chair right next to mine.
This time I wore a short skirt and a cute t shirt.
It was just too warm for the school uniform or my witch hat.
Everyone was skimpy dressed today.

"What a Auta blessed day"
Angie sighed satisfied and leaned into her lounger.
"Will someone cream my back later?"

"Hahahah! Your back isn't the only thing that's gonna be creamy today, after the boys saw my outfit!!"
Miu announced loudly.
Without wanting to, my eyes starred at her body.
Damn she looked so sexy..
With great effort I tried to suppress my envy.

I turned my head towards the voice.
My heart jumped.

Kokichi gave Miu the most disgusted look she could ever get.

"Heeee! are you sexually confused or w-what is wrong with you?!"
Dazed, Miu staggered a few steps backwards.

"Alright Guys!"
A shirtless, sweaty Kaito raised his voice.
"Someone hungry?!"
with his gestures, he made us pretty clear that we should come and get something to eat.

"Food!"
Next to me, Tenko jumped up, drooling just to grab my hand and drag me with her, against my will.

"whaaa-"
I stumbled after her.
Man, i wasn't hungry at all..

After everyone who wanted, had picked their meat, we ate , talked, chilled and sunbathed together.

"Ah guys that was tastyy!"
Tenko stretched her arms contentedly.

"I know right?"
Kaito proudly put a hand on his hip and gave us a thumbs up.

"put on a t-shirt finally.."
Maki blushed and looked away in embarrassment.

The astronaut raised an eyebrow.
"Huh, why??"

I sighed, well now- I was full but still sad.
Longingly, I watched Ryoma Kokichi and Rantaro took turns playing tennis.

But the fun was quickly over when Kokichi shot the ball against Kaito's head.

"KOKICHI YOU BASTARD!"
Furious, Kaito immediately forgot the meat and ran after Kokichi.
