"Eren Yeager is the one we're looking for"

The room was so silent that you could hear a pin drop. The Alpha placed his coffee back on the table. "What."

"I met him two days ago at the supermarket. I'm almost certain that Levi's with him."

Mike shot up from his chair so fast that she hadn't had time to compromise that he was right in her face. "Kuchel, you met up with him? Do you even realize how dangerous that could've been? What if he suspected something! That could've put our entire investigation in jeopardy."

"I know, it was a reckless decision. But I got the job done, didn't I. Poor Hanji couldn't investigate Eren, she tried and it was just too much for her." Hanji had told her all about her attempt to investigate Eren, but she just couldn't do it. Each time Hanji tried the guilt just kept eating away at her, she was a teacher, not an investigator. Kuchel just took the job off of Hanji's hands, there was no loss by doing this.

Still, that didn't discard how reckless her actions were. Kuchel could've easily wasted their efforts in a matter of seconds. Kenny rubbed his temples together in a circular motion. "What proof do you have that it's Mr. Yeager?"

"Levi's scent was on him."

"What?" Levi's scent, this was the breakthrough they've needed this entire time.

"It was faint but I know my baby's scent. Here." She dropped a file down right in front of him. "This is all the data about him plus my own personal research about him"

Mike took the file out of Kenny's hands and flipped through all of the newly added information. Sophomore in high school, about to graduate. This kid was in high school, no way Levi would go after someone this young. The more he scanned through Yeager's file the more concerned he became. Joined his school's wrestling and boxing club during his freshman and sophomore year. Has a history of getting into school fights, cops were reportedly called on one occasion. He was just a kid, he couldn't have taken Levi. Could he?

Why is it that the more he learned about this case the more confusing it gets. He could feel a major headache coming on. He rubbed his temples together, he was so tired. Levi, what the hell did you get yourself into?

Kenny tipped his hat to the side to make direct eye contact. "What exactly did you find out about this Yeager, mention anything about Levi."

"Nope, he just rambled on about how his sister is such a snitch and about his day."

Kenny nudged at her. "She sounds like you"

"Screw off, anyways I got something else that you all should be aware of" The room was silent as they all intently listened to her. She fumbled around with her collar as she tried to find the words to speak. "I spoke with Levi over the phone."

"You spoke with him? How was he, was he alright, the kids not in any danger, is he?"

"Not from my knowledge, I was a bit surprised since he contacted me so out of the blue." Levi didn't sound like he was in any danger so that relieved her. So there is a chance that he made that call on his own free will.

"While I was talking to Levi I knew I couldn't track him down but what I could do was record the conversation between us" Since they were talking directly through the landline she was able to get a hold of her phone just in time. "I have the phone recording here on my phone. Now I'm no expert but Levi didn't seem nervous or scared, Mike I want you to view it over and make sure that I'm not wrong."

He nodded at her. "Will do," He walked out of the room with her phone in hand, it's best if he makes a duplicate of the audio just in case.

Nanaba popped open her laptop and opened a new doc. "Kuchel can you tell me more about your interaction with Mr. Yeager"
