All I remember was running. Running from the mind flayer. I remember running out of the backyard as the creature came closer.
"Go dammit go!" Hopper yelled guiding everyone out if our yard. "Hopper" Joyce yelled. "Go take will and the others to the cabin" he ordered. She put them all in car and drove off as I stood there watching the trees snap.
"Louisianna!" Hopper yelled grabbing me and throwing me into the bronco.
I was stuck, I couldn't move anymore. Seeing that just reminded me of last time.
I sat silently in the truck as Hopper drove to the cabin. "Lou" Jonathan yelled. "Jon can you get ahold of that guy she's seeing, I.. he'll need to know" Hopper said and he nodded and left to go grab Eddie.
"Lou, baby come on come back" Joyce called trying her hardest. I didn't move. If I stayed still he couldn't find me right.
The roar of Eddie's van screeching to a halt along the gravel pulled the attention off of me. Everything happened in slow motion. I could hear Eddie yelling my name. "I wont leave you here" was the first thing I said.
"I'm confused" Eddie said kneeling beside me.. "I'll get help, I'll come back" I said in a trance.
"Shes remeber being in the upside down a while back" Dustin said. "Steve no" I started screaming.
"Make it stop" Joyce begged. "Where's steve" Hopper asked. "With nancy" Mike said. Hopper left, lights and sirens blaring and came back minutes later dragging the boy inside. "Fix this" Hopper said. Steve looked between me and Eddie. "Don't punch me" Steve warned before placing his lips on mine. "Come on honey, were safe we made it, come on baby look at me" Steve cooed Softly. I blinked as my eyes focused. "Steve" I whispered. "Yeah we got out Lou, we're okay, you're ok" he said.
Eddie cleared his throat. "Oh Eds" I stared to cry as he wrapped me in a hug. "You scared me sweetheart" he said "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to" I replied and he held my face in his hands. "And Harrington, I'll let that kiss slide this time" Eddie sighed. "Can we please get back to helping Will now" Mike pleaded.
Hopper lit a fire and found heaters and turned all of them on. Will started sweating. "Its not enough" Jonathan said. Joyce eyed the fire poker. She sat it in the fire. Whispered an apology and pressed it to Wills skin. He screamed and finally fell silent as the flayer left him.
Everything was quiet.
Will had passed out.Hopper was outside smoking when I snuck out.
"Hop" I called Softly and he jumped turning around. "Thanks for not leaving me back there" I said. He blew a puff of smoke. "It'd be cruel to leave anyone there" he said. "Why did you get steve" I asked. "Because he's the only one who knew how to get you back, he's always gonna bring you back" Hopper said. "Face it kid, no matter what you're bonded to that idiot" Hopper said putting out his cigarette. I sighed. "Eddie's gonna leave" I said. Hopper shook his head. "No, that boy is crazy about you, he's not going anywhere" he smiled. "I think you just need a break, go stay with him for a few days and just breathe" Hopper said. I nodded.
The drive back to Eddie's was quiet. He was humming along to some song on the radio. "Eds" I said Softly. "Yeah" he responded turning the radio down.
"Thank you" I said "for?" He asked."For not leaving when my life got crazy" I said and he chuckled . "Baby this" he said motioning between us "this is the most normal I've felt in awhile" he said pulling up to his trailer. He got out and opened my door and we just stood there. I leaned back against his van and listened to the wind blow through the trees.
"I just" I started to say as Eddie stepped closer. He pulled me into his chest and just held me. "Let's sleep on it" He said walking me inside.
