Neil answered the door

"Lou" he Called and I walked in and met with officer Callahan "What's this about" Eddie said standing behind me. "Got a report about an assault, I'm gonna have to take you in" he said sadly I nodded. I turned to Eddie.  "Call Hopper, it's his day off" I said and he nodded and stole a quick kiss before Callahan took me outside and put me in the patrol car.

Callahan cuffed me and walked me into the precinct. "Are you really gonna book her?" Flo asked. "I have too" Callahan said sadly sitting me down.  After the book in process he placed me in a cell but thankfully took the cuffs off. I waited hoping Eddie got ahold of Hopper.
A few hours later
The door slammed open "where is she" Hopper yelled and Flo pointed to my cell "you do this?" Hopper ask Callahan "she assaulted someone" he said. "I didn't I removed her after she hit max" I said. "Who hit maxine" Hopper asked.  "The same lady who no doubt called the cops, it's Billy's mom beth" I said and Hopper shook his head "I'll bail her out it was self defense, but go pick up Beth we need to talk" Hopper said and Callahan nodded.  I rubbed my wrists cuff marks apparent. 

Hopper called Eddie to come . He wasted no time and brought Billy.  "I'm so fucking sorry" Billy said.  "Don't be" I said. Eddie kissed my wrists and asked if he could take me home.  "Yes but we will talk later" Hopper said and I nodded.

We got into the van and I sighed. "Neil and Susan wanna see you" Billy said I nodded so Eddie drove back to his house.

Susan wrapped me in a hug.  "Thank you" she whispered. I pulled away gently and turned to Neil.  "I just want to say,  you didn't have to do that but thank you" he said avoiding eye contact.   "Anytime" I smiled. 

"I should get you home,  Hopper told Joyce" Eddie said. I said goodbye to Billy and we left.

Eddie paused  starting the van. "I don't have to worry about this bringing yall closer do i" he asked.  "Absolutely not,  I love only you" I said honestly and he smiled leaning over to kiss me before driving off. He drove to my mom's and sent me in alone "this seems like a family thing" he said. I tried to protest "I'll go get dinner and a movie and ill see you later" he said kissing me and I nodded and walked inside.

"What on earth were you thinking you have a record now" my mom immediately started ranting.

"Billy's mom was out of line, she hit max" I said.

"So you just go around fighting everyone's battles who
While your brother suffers? When are you gonna fight for him" she asked.  "I've done my part, I fought this once already" I said yelling as Jonathan walked in.  "Yeah well, seems like if it doesn't benefit you you don't care anymore" she said. "I knew it was a mistake coming back" I said pushing passed Jonathan to leave.

"If you walk out that door don't come back" mom said. I paused at the door and looked at Jonathan. "Lou" he said standing between us. I walked out the door and walked to Eddie's.
I knocked and he answered. He looked down at me. "Home so soon angel" he said stepping aside so I could go in. 

I broke down and started crying as I told him what my mom has said.

"And please don't take this as me defending her, but she is under a lot of stress" Eddie said.  "I know, I'll have Hopper talk to her" I said wiping my tears away.

I stared at Eddie. He was beautiful
"Something on my face" he teased. I placed my legs on either side of his lap and straddled him.  I continued to stare to memorize every curve of his face. 

I kissed him. With a need that I was hoping he would pick up on. His hands found their place on my waist. Thumbs brushing along exposed skin. I moved slightly earning a soft groan from the boy beneath me.

"As much as I would absolutely love to let you have your way, we still have to meet with Hopper and get you outta trouble" Eddie said. I sighed "okay dad" I teased and he shot me a warning look. I stood up and fixed my shirt.

"Oh? That something that catches your attention" I asked "I will let you know" he said standing up fixing his jeans. "You'll take care of that later" he said chuckling. We ate quickly and got back in the van and drove to hoppers.
