The group gathered to spend time with Will. And I decided to walk back towards hoppers and maybe find out more about El. Or Jane as she's now called.

I heard the car, that stupid blue camero.

"Get in" Billy said voice harsh, "now" he demanded and I did.  "Billy slow down" I begged but he just sped up. "Billy" I screamed as he slammed on the breaks near the forest edge.  I quickly got out of the car but he followed pinning me against the side of the car.

"I think,  I think you think I'm stupid" he said. "Like you can play with people's emotions and then drop them" he continued.  "And then I find out from Max that you're with the freak" Billy laughed. "We're you there the first time I came looking for you?" He asked. I didn't answer he slammed his hand onto the top of the car.  "I asked you a question" he sneered. "Yes okay, yes I was with him" I said cowering. "What's he got that I dont" Billy asked.

Billy was pulled off me. "Manners for one" Eddie said punching him. He quickly pulled me away from the car.  He pushed me towards his van and I got in without hesitation.  Billy drove off.

"I thought you were gone" I said.  "My uncle heard they'd found your brother and your friend, he said you needed me more" Eddie smiled placing his hand on mine.
I looked out the window. "Eddie" I said and he hummed a response. "Why do they call you the freak" I asked. He stayed silent.  He pulled up to his trailer.  "When you do things people don't consider normal you get labeled a freak, I'm a 2 time senior who plays D&D with freshman, sells drugs and listens to metal, not your typical suburbia kid" Eddie said. I got out of the van and he met me at the door. His hand found my hip, a calloused thump brushing along the exposed skin.

"Do you think I'm a freak angel" Eddie asked. I looked into his eyes. He leaned down. "Answer the question sweetheart" he purred in my ear. His eyes met mine.

"No" I whispered looking down. His finger rested under my chin lifting it slowly.  He was inches away when a blaring horn pulled my attention.

"Get in" Hopper yelled opening his door. I looked at Eddie. "Go angel, I'll be here" he smiled kissing my forehead. I ran and jumped in hoppers truck. "What is so damn important hop" I said.  "Somethings wrong with your brother" he said.  "Hes like Steve was" I said and Hopper shook his head. "This is worse, much worse" he said skidding to a stop in my mom's driveway

"Jesus it's freezing in here" I said. "He likes it cold" will mumbled.  "Who's he" I asked but will didn't answer.  "Someone talk" I said. "Its a mind flayer" Dustin said. "From your game" I said and he nodded. "You've got to be fucking kidding me" I sighed.  "So how do we stop this thing" I asked.  "We have to make will hot, like really hot and burn it out" Mike said. I looked towards will and then Hopper.

"Go get the boy" he said I took his truck and raced for Eddie. While driving back I explained everything.  "Yeah heat should do it" Eddie said as we walked in.

"You brought the freak" Jonathan said  "shut up, he runs the hellfire club, he knows D&D like the back of his hand" I defended.  "You'll have to tie him down" Eddie said pointing to will, "and somewhere he doesn't know, so mf can't see" he explained. He pulled the bandana from his pocket.

He blindfolded Will and we placed him in the shed.

"This better work" Jonathan sighed

A roar filled the night.

"I think it worked" I said.

"He knows we're here"
