"Mom what are you doing here?" I asked. "I came to pick up food, are you alone" she asked and I shook my head. "I'm here with Eddie and friends, I just needed a minute" I said. She hugged me and continued on into the diner. I sighed and walked back in to Eddie. Robin and Steve were sitting at a different table now.

"You okay" Eddie asked Softly and I nodded. "Whyd they move?" I asked.  "Robin doesn't like tension, she also doesn't like when steve is brooding" Eddie said.

We ate in silence.  Everytime I'm looked up I met Steve's eyes. He'd scrunch his nose and go back to conversing with Robin.
I sighed.
After we finished Eddie decided we needed to go rent a movie.  We did and then went back home.
Eddie could read me like a book. No sooner were we inside was I pressed against the door into a tight hug.

I clung to Eddie and just cried.  After awhile he Softly let me go.
"You let everything build up again huh" Eddie said taking us to bed and putting on the movie. "Sorry" I squeaked.  "Don't apologize angel, just know you don't have to do that, you can talk to me about anything" he said smiling Softly.  "I just don't want to freak you out" I said. He turned and looked at me.   "Its highly unlikely that you, could freak me out, they think your normal" he chuckled. I looked up at him.

A loud knock brought us out of our quiet.  Another patterned knock.  "What henderson!" Eddie yelled going to the door.  I heard rambling and went to look.  Dustin was describing something arms flailing wildly.  "And I need to know if she has Steve's bat" he said pointing to me.  "What's going on" I asked  Dustin looked between me and Eddie.

"I found this thing in my trash and at first I thought it was some type of lizard" Dustin inhaled. "But it's not and I dunno what it is but it's locked in my shed and I need to kill it" He said.  "Are you sure it's not a lizard? Why kill it" I asked.

"Because it ate my cat" he deadpanned.  Eddie spit out the drink he had taken. "It ate your cat" I said as more of a question. "Yes now do you have the bat or not" he whined.

I grabbed it and my jacket. Eddie grabbed his keys.  "Let's go" I said.   Dustin tried to protest but Eddie shot him a look.
"Does anyone know?" I asked.  Dustin nodded.  "But they don't know how big Darts gotten" he said.  "Dart" Eddie repeated.  "Yeah he likes musketeer bars so i" Dustin stopped talking. "That's not important" he said.  "Just help please" he begged.

We pulled into the Henderson driveway.    "Your moms home" I yelled.  "No she's out looking for mews" he said

We walked to his shed. The thing was making awful noises.  I looked down at the bat.  "Yeah no, this isn't gonna work, you gotta call Nancy we need a gun" I said. "A gun really" Dustin whined.   "This" I said waving a bat "won't work on that" I said pointing to the shed.  "Your little creature thing sounds  a bit pissed off" Eddie added.  Dustin retreated to his house to call the wheelers.

Nancy came and naturally brought Steve because 'one of his children were in need'..

"What are you doing here" Steve asked voice seemingly laced with concern.  "Dustin needed help, needed the bat" I said.  Dustin explain what was happening as the shed shook.  The creature roared and broke through the side, it ran right over top of me and stopped for a minute snuffing me. Growled and ran into the forest behind the Henderson house.  I laid on the ground terrified. Eddie helped me up and my shakey legs turned to the small boy..

Steve looked at me. I knew he knew. "What was that" Nancy asked. "A demodog"  Steve sighed heavily.  "Are you hurt" Eddie asked and I shook my head.  "Its probably going back to the lab" Steve said.  "That was a demogorgon" Dustin asked.  "Yeah" I said. "Dog formed though" I added.
