How does one find love in this complicated life? Where does one get real love? Eunhyuk has been wondering about it, and just then Seoyeon walks in.
There is something about them that always brings them together - in the best and worst of moments. S...
Eunhyuk was running up the stairs, his shoes leaving dirty prints as he sprinted. It had rained heavily, and Eunhyuk was late. Controlling the squeaky sound from his shoes, Eunhyuk made his way to the seating area, where his new team was allotted seats. Eunhyuk reached the bay where his new team sat, and started looking for a seat. "Hi, Eunhyuk!" He turned to see a group of people - with Seoyeon, who was calling him . "We are headed for lunch to the cafeteria. Come, join us." He looked around, rubbing his neck, "Uh... give me a minute? I will keep my stuff and come." Seoyeon gave him a thumbs-up and left with the group. 'Finally!' Eunhyuk found an unoccupied seat. He kept his laptop bag, picked up his lunch box and dashed up the stairs, again - squeaking, to catch up with his new team.

An hour later...
"Oh, you got a seat next to me! Fantastic. Makes life so much easier." "Oh ya, such luck." Seoyeon grinned, sat on her chair and rolled away, sandwiching herself perfectly between the chair and her desk. 'Haha, sweet', he took his place at the desk beside her when she was nicely settled in. "So!" Seoyeon startled Eunhyuk with a sudden 'attack'. "Bossman told me that you were out for two weeks. All good?" "You call Leeteuk 'bossman'?" He smirked. "Yeah, tell you what," she gestured to Eunhyuk to come closer. Eunhyuk apprehensively bent towards her. Their faces were inches apart; Eunhyuk started feeling somewhat uneasy. Seoyeon approached Eunhyuk's ear and whispered, "He LOVES it!" Eunhyuk turned his head and looked into Seoyeon's eyes, and in the next second, both of them were laughing. "Okay, but seriously," Seoyeon continued after a few minutes when they found their breath, "is everything okay?" Eunhyuk's eyes met hers - she could see something go off in them, just as she made the question serious. " Yeah, I just had some personal matters to attend to." "Oh, okay..." a few seconds of silence. "Well, let's get to work! Let's start with the guidelines to get your basics in place. Sounds good?" "Yes. What would you like me to read?" She looked at him with a snicker. "Proactive, aren't we?" Eunhyuk gave her a soft smile. Seoyeon felt something in her chest. "Okay, please take these papers and go through them. Let's sit on... wait, let me check..." The pen she had in her hand was held by her lips now. She turned to face the screen, and Eunhyuk looked at her. "Ah," the pen fell from the lips, holding them to her lap, and Eunhyuk's eyes followed its path. "Tomorrow's no good," Eunhyuk's attention returned to the screen, where Seoyeon was looking at her calendar. "Friday, I don't want you to read to boredom and die..." Eunhyuk softly chuckled. Seoyeon was too lost in her computer to notice. "But... but... buuuuuuut, you need time to read and understand. So... let's sit on Tuesday! How does that sound?" Eunhyuk made a note in his diary. "Sure, sounds good." Seoyeon smiled. "Awesome. Then, I will return to my blaring music and over-functioning keyboard."

Days passed, and Eunhyuk silently worked, sitting next to Seoyeon. The seat was his after his first day, and he wasn't complaining. Sitting next to her had its perks; for example, whenever he had a doubt, he would ask right away and Seoyeon would clear it, or he would get invited to all the team breaks because someone would definitely come to ask Seoyeon. He appreciated that the team was very friendly. No matter how busy people were, they always went to eat together - lunch, snacks and dinner. Everyone would sit together, join small tables to make a giant one, get chairs from all the nooks and corners and sit together to eat and have fun. It was enjoyable at snack break, when all sorts of snacks would be kept at the centre of the table, and everyone would eat like a buffet. There was no distinction, no hierarchy. Everyone would eat and laugh, discuss silly topics and crack jokes on each other and themselves.

He had also started noticing someone especially - Seoyeon. Seoyeon would take everyone with her, especially Renee. 'They are very close,' Eunhyuk had concluded. He was very intrigued by Seoyeon's way of working. She was always busy attending meetings and giving presentations. Nonetheless, she always had notes and pointers on everything she worked on; her days were spent helping others and ensuring all deadlines were met. Despite how tired she was, she was always smiling; her energy was a booster shot to everyone else in the team. In some ways, it was also being induced in him. On some days, Eunhyuk would see her work tirelessly, all the while swaying to the music. 'Lord knows what she listened to,' he had wondered, but her interest in music had caught Eunhyuk's attention. Sometimes, while typing, she would suddenly stop and start moving her fingers, scrunching her nose, and mouthing the lyrics. It always brought a smile to his face.

"I am telling you, he is excellent!" "Ahaan?" Renee said as she ate her noodles. Seoyeon didn't stop. " No, seriously," she took the last bite of her burger, "his work and attention to detail are fantastic. I mean, I haven't seen him stretch, and I haven't seen him get stressed. He had exactly understood what I had asked for and delivered in kind." "Oh yeah? But don't you think you went too hard on him? To read and discuss all that...they are right in calling you Hitler, you know?" Seoyeon gave a cheeky smile. "I was just testing the waters. I didn't want him to feel that he was special and he could slack off just because he is famous, you know?" Renee was grinning, looking at Seoyeon. "Are you sure that's your ONLY motivation?" Seoyeon's face was red. "Oh, shut up!" Renee started laughing. "In all seriousness, though," Seoyeon continued, "he is really good. He was sharp, precise and very focused. Most of all, his hard work showes. I will not deny I had pushed him to see his reaction and performance. And man, he delivered." Renee added, "In buckets!" "Yeah! Very impressed." "Oh, I can see that," Renee pointed to Seoyeon's red cheeks. "Aaaaaah! I am going!" Seoyeon got up and started walking away with her empty plate. "Hey! Wait for me!" Renee said, going right behind her.
