How does one find love in this complicated life? Where does one get real love? Eunhyuk has been wondering about it, and just then Seoyeon walks in.
There is something about them that always brings them together - in the best and worst of moments. S...
"Fasterrrrrrr!" Seoyeon kept on demanding as Eunhyuk pushed the swing she was on. Eunhyuk stopped the swing and kneeled in front of her sitting on it. "Seoyeonaaa, keep your voice low. People will wake up." Seoyeon pouted but shook her head in agreement. Eunhyuk smiled, got up, and went behind the swing to push her again. "BUT!" Eunhyuk was startled. "But what?" Seoyeon pulled his hand and brought him back in front of her. "If you agree that I am allowed to enjoy myself on a swing like a little girl.." Eunhyuk chuckled. "Yes, you definitely are, as long as the guards don't catch us. Deal?" "OKKAAAAAYYYYYYYYIIIIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!" Eunhyuk pushed her swing and witnessed her enjoying herself.
The wind was blowing through her ruffled hair and her laughter was pure. The clothes were fluttering in the gush of air, as she went up on the swing. Eunhyuk couldn't help but admire her. He noticed her trying to slow the swing down. He helped her stop it and she got down. She held her head with one of her palms. "I think I am feeling dizzy." Her voice was more adult-like than before. "Do you want to lie down on the grass and watch the sky?" Seoyeon smiled, "yeah, that sounds nice." They walked to a desolate patch on the playground and lay down on the ground.
"Ah, this is peaceful. I wish we could get this type of peace all the time." Seoyeon sighed. Eunhyuk, lying next to her, turned his head to look at her. She continued, "you know, when we were kids - like about five or six, me and my sister used to lie on rooftops every night and watch the stars. I used to love plays connect-the-dots with them." Eunhyuk smiled. "That sounds nice. I was all about food when I was little." "Seriously?" Seoyeon laughed looking at him. "Were you a chubby kid?" "Sadly, no. But yeah, I used to love eating." "What happened then?" "Happened? Nothing. I just love healthy eating now." "Uggghhhhhhhhhhhh. BO-RIIIIIINNNNNNGGGGGGGG!!" Eunhyuk laughed and they both laughed looking at the sky.
"You know..." "Hmmm?" "My sister also loved to eat. Especially sweets. She was really fond of chocolates... But after that day, she never really got to live easy." Eunhyuk sensed that this was serious. He decided on just listening to her. "One fine day, she collapsed at school. No one knew what happened, and she was rushed to the hospital. An 11-year-old child, with no one having any clue what happened all of a sudden. I didn't know what was going on, I was too tiny. I remember just one thing - praying with all the might of a 6-year-old to keep her well." A tear fell from her eyes to the side. Eunhyuk saw as it traced a line from her vision and got lost in her hair. "I think it was the scariest day of my life. I don't remember much, but obviously, I remember the feeling of being scared. It has never left me as if it scrapes my heart slowly and steadily.... I wish that no one feels like that, ever."

Eunhyuk's heart broke listening to her. He watched her shed tears and stare at the sky, at those distant stars and wonder. Just then, his watch vibrated on his wrist. It was midnight - time to sleep. He ignored the alarm, and continued to look at her. "How is she now?" he softly asked. Seoyeon wiped her tears and smiled a little, "oh, she is fine now. She had hyperglycemia, which if not controlled would have caused her death. Unfortunately, in that case, all one can do is give time. She has been well taken care of since then. I am really happy that she lives a normal life to this day." "I am glad." He smiled. She turned her head and looked at him - the smile made her smile too.
Suddenly, they realised that their face was very close to each other. There was something magnetic pulling their faces towards each other, but this time Seoyeon got up. "Uh, sorry about my ranting. Let's go to my flat. It is late." Eunhyuk was shaken by the restraint in an instant. "Sure, let's go." They got up and left walking peacefully to her flat.
Seoyeon unlocked the door and entered, followed by Eunhyuk. "Well, welcome to my humble abode." "It is really sweet, quite contrary to what I thought it would be." Seoyeon turned to face him, with her hands on her waist and question on her face. "What did you think it would be?" "Ah, you know, I figured there would be office laptop and papers all over the coffee table and a punching bag right in the middle of the room, for you to take out your frustration." "Oh ya, I could do that!" Seoyeon gave a fake thoughtful expression. Eunhyuk laughed and she hit him on his arm. "Owww! Why do you hit me so much!?" "Because I can. :P" Eunhyuk was dumbfounded by her reaction. "Okay, there is the guest room, it has an attached bathroom as well. My brother's clothes should be in the cupboard, in case you want to change." "But I was thinking..." "Nope. I know you want to drive home, but it is late and we are both sleepy. So, sleep in the guest room over there, and go in the morning after breakfast." Eunhyuk smiled. "Fine, thank you for your hospitality." "You are welcome. Now, my head is pounding, I need a shower and sleep. I will see you tomorrow. Good night!" "Good night!"
He showered and changed into a set of pyjamas that he thought would fit him. Apparently, her brother may be small but his clothes were not. Eunhyuk looked at himself in the mirror, 'damn, I am seriously looking like an anchovy.' he ruffled his hair and lay down on the bed.
The lights were off, and he was trying really hard to sleep but what Seoyeon said wasn't leaving his mind. The image of the tear rolling down from her eyes was haunting his vision as he closed his eyes. He sat up and started thinking of something to do. He found a pen and paper on the side table. Smiling, he picked it up and started writing.
