Chapter 22

***Troye's P.O.V.***

"Troye!" Sage runs into the living room as I sit on the couch flicking through the channels eating a jar of Nutella. It's come to that point in my life.

"What?" I ask with no expression what-so-ever.

"Did you know that Mr. Franta is going to be on the Jimmy Falon show tonight?!"

"Yea, I thought everyone knew that?" I don't bother to look at her, my eyes stay focused on the TV.

She takes a seat next to me and I groan in protest that she go away.

"Oh shut up" she snatches the remote from my hands, I don't bother to object, I don't even feel like moving.

Ever since I got home I realized that I don't really have anything to be excited about. I don't have to deal with Tyler anymore, Connor's in New York, Mum and Dad are in the hospital and I'm just stuck with my two siblings now that Steele's left.

"Troye you already missed like two minutes of it!" She puts on the show.

I suddenly feel a boost of energy and I sit up straighter seeing the time is now 11:30.

"Give me that" I snatch the remote from her and turn up the volume.

"I'm so glad I get to have you on this show! I really need help on my outfit" Jimmy's attempt at a joke that I accidentally laugh at.

"Ok so there's a few questions I have for you that I have from Twitter so here's the questions are you ready?"

"Yep" Connor seems so relaxed, it's unlike him.

"alright, so have you ever been in public where someone's asked to get a picture with you?"

"Um, yea plenty of times, actually one time I was in LA and someone stopped me on the street and asked me for a picture and I said 'sure' but it turned out they wanted a photo with someone else and I was actually going to take the photo"

"Are you serious?!" Jimmy laughs as Connor nods.

"Another question I have is how popular were you in high school?"

"High school was some dark times, I guess I was popular but, I was teased a lot about tons of different things"

"Going a long the lines of the teasing thing, I often see on Twitter and comments on Instagram that will say your gay and things like that considering your a male in the fashion industry, and how do you deal with that?"

Connor looks almost directly into the camera, as if he's looking directly at me.

"I really don't because it's true"

I stop. Sage stops. Jimmy stops. Almost everyone being apart and watching the show stops.

Connor Franta just came out to the world.

"So that means I can date you?" Jimmy asks, Breaking the silence.

"I know it's a huge shock but I just felt it was time I said it"

"Well dude you just raised the ratings on my show way to go!" Jimmy offers a high-five to Connor which he gratefully accepts.

"Alright, there we have it folks, give it up for Connor Franta!" He waits till the applause dies down to say "we'll see him later on with some skits in the show right after the break" the band plays them out as the screen flashes to a toothpaste commercial.

"Oh my..." I look to sage who is at a loss for words.

"Wow" I say.

"Yea"
