***Troye's P.O.V.***

"You're back! I was worried sick about you two!" Sage scolds Connor and I as we walk through the door. I notice how much she sounds like my mum.

"I'm sorry, it was something really important, exciting news though!"

"What is it?" She places her hands on her hips, in a way as if she was saying that the news couldn't be exciting enough to to sneak out of the house without telling anyone why. As if a hand placement could say that much.

"I'll tell everyone at dinner, I think the whole family will want to know." I smirk.

"Wait oh my..." she rushes over to me.

She grabs my hand, inspecting each finger, then she does the same with Connor's.

"Sage what are you doing?" I ask like she is a complete physco path.

"Neither of you proposed did you?"

And that's when I realized that by what I said, yes it could come across as the fact that the "big news" was a proposal.

"No! No!" I say while Connor waves his arms to signal 'no way!'.

"I almost thought you two got engaged!" She places a hand to her chest in relief.

"Well we didn't" I say, showing her my hand to clearly state there was no ring there and we most certainly were not engaged.

"But what if we were?" Connor pipes up for the first time since walking in the house.

"Well, don't you think you're both a little young?" She asks.

I suppose she was right. I wasn't planning on proposing to Connor anytime soon, and I figured he wasn't planning on purposing to me. The topic hadn't come up in conversation between the two of us, so I assumed it wasn't relevant at this point in our relationship.

"Yea, true" Connor shrugs as I nod in agreement.

"Yes, well everyone's asleep right now" Sage changes the subject, obviously not intrigued by it. "However, I made breakfast if you guys want any?" She offers, pointing back to the assortment of waffles, pancakes, fruits and many different breakfast foods.

"How did you know how to make all of this?" I ask scanning the counter tops overloaded with food.

"I found one of mum's cooking books and it had a lot of different foods in it, so I just made some of the breakfast ones." She responds.

"Oh, well I applaud you on it" my mouth waters from how good everything looks.

"Thank you" she says. "Oh and I almost forgot! Happy thanksgiving!" She exclaims.

"Oh right, happy Thanksgiving to you both!" I say smiling towards Connor and Sage.

"As to you" Connor says before looking at Sage and saying "and you!"

"So can I just eat whatever then?" I turn back towards Sage.

"Yea, help yourself. But don't eat too much because we have Thanksgiving dinner tonight"

"oh, right." I say while I grab a plate and begin adding food to it, Connor doing the same. "What's the point in even making a big meal when it's just going to be the seven of us? And without mum it won't be the same anyways" I ask.

I really didn't find a point in it. We'd all be fine with just a small meal, there was no reason to buy all of that food that would end up having way too many leftovers anyways.
