Chapter 66

***Troye's P.O.V.***
***At the Interview***

"Hi it's so nice to meet you both! I'm David."

"Hello" I greet the man who is said to be interviewing us. He wears very hipster-like glasses and a plaid shirt.

"Hi, nice to meet you too!" Connor shakes his hand, as do I.

"So, I just have a few questions and basically I'm gonna record it and we'll see how it goes. Sound good?" David asks.

"Yea" I say it but I don't believe the words coming from my mouth. I don't know why I'm so nervous about this. It's just going to be simple questions about my boyfriend and I.

"Ok so, I'll start off simple, how long have you guys been together?" He asks.

I can't even think of the answer, I look at Connor for help. Connor sees my fear, he takes my hand and confidentially says "A little more than a year."

"Wow that's a long time! Would there be any plan of getting married soon, maybe?"

Although I'm nervous as hell, that doesn't stop a laugh from slipping from my mouth. Both Connor and David look at me with confusion as to why I was laughing.

"Um... Well" I start off, "I just think we're both very busy and its not likely for any proposals anytime soon." I answer.

Connor looks at me with a frown, then I feel the grip he once held on my hand loosen.

"Well, would you guys ever one day think of getting married?" He asks.

"One day I'd like to." Connor says.

Does he really want to get married? I'm still somewhat young. I don't know if I want to get married. Yet, I do love him. I love him more than anyone I ever have in my life. That's saying something.

Maybe I do want to get married soon?

"That's nice, I'm sure the fans would love that! and you guys seem perfect for each other."

"aw thank you" Connor blushes.

"So, This question is more for you Connor, but there are rumors about a possible new line soon? Can you tell us any more about that?" he asks.

"I don't want to give too much away, but Troye played a very big part in the creation of it, and it should be out within a few months." He answers.

"Troye! Wow that's cool I can't wait to see it! Has anything changed between you both from working on a professional level?"

I think about how we've worked on the line professionally and nothing's changed, at all actually.

"No, we haven't disagreed on anything in the line and we both have the same views on the aesthetic and look for the line, so if anything it's just brought us closer." I answer, smiling at Connor.

"Speaking of disagreements, How often do you guys fight?" David asks.

"We don't fight a lot, and when we do it usually just ends in both of us crying and then we make up and order food or just watch TV together." I laugh at my very accurate answer, as does Connor.

"Yes, we don't fight at all almost, it's usually small things that we disagree about." Connor adds to my answer.

"Well that's good, it sounds like you guys have a strong relationship. Who would you consider your relationship goals?"

I laugh in my head at the question, then I realize how simple this interviewing thing is. it might even be... fun?

"For me, my goals are probably Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher." Connor says.

"Yea! that's a good one" I agree, "But mine are probably Ellen and Portia, honestly they are my faves" I respond.

"That's a good one, they are truly goals" David laughs. "How would you guys describe each other in one word?"

"Caring." Connor says almost immediately.

"Thoughtful." I say in response.

He really was thoughtful. He always would do little things that he knew would make my day, and if I ever lost that I don't know what I'd do.

"That's sweet. You guys are like a total power couple. How do you deal with the rumors and the paparazzi?"

"That's something I've dealt with before I even met Troye, so for me I've learned to just tune it out and I just focus on my life, not the false rumors that are supposedly my life." Connor says, and he couldn't have put it better.

"This whole thing is obviously new for me, and it was really hard up until recently where I learned to just block it out, and I hear rumors all the time, like I'm standing next to a guy in a store and suddenly there's a picture on twitter of the guy and me and suddenly I'm dating him so, that's hard but I've gotten used to it and I just somewhat tune it out." I answer.

"You guys come from almost two different worlds so how did you guys meet?"

I hadn't thought about the first time we met since, well, we actually met. Thinking back to that day made me realize how far we've come.

"I met Connors old assistant Bethany first, and she wanted me to model for a fashion show, and while at the fashion show I met Connor, and it's hard to explain how we got to talking" I couldn't tell the interviewer that we started talking because of my abuse from Tyler. "But, I'm really glad we did." I smile at Connor.

"That's sounds like a great story. That's actually all the questions I have for you guys so thank you so much for being here!" David exclaims.

"oh no problem" Connor says and we both shake his hand once more.

"We will send you guys a copy of the magazine when it comes out!"

"ok that sounds great, thank you, have a nice day!" I say as Connor and I walk out of the door.

As we walk out, hand and hand, I notice how my perspective has changed.

I walked into this interview with Connor as my boyfriend whom I knew I loved very much. Now, however, after reflecting from the questions asked, I walk out of the interview with a different perspective.

Connor is my boyfriend whom I love very much, and who I want to marry.
