I'm awoken from my sleep with the sound of seagulls outside the rooms window. I groan as I flutter my eyes open.

As my line of vision becomes more clear I can easily see that Troye wasn't affected by the birds, considering his eyes were still shut and he was curled up in a cocoon of blankets, just as I had seen him before I went to bed.

I smile at seeing him first thing in the morning and I already feel ready for the day.

Ever since I was a kid I had been an early riser. However, as I aged I learned not to wake people up when I did, I had been scolded by my parents, and even friends a few times for doing that.

The sun hadn't fully risen yet and I figured I had time to quickly go out on the main deck and take some pictures as it was rising.

I quickly and very quietly got dressed in a rather casual outfit. The best thing I could find to just go out on the deck. That being a pair of cuffed up blue jeans and a teal t-shirt with a pocket.

I found a pen and paper and wrote I wrote down a note to leave for Troye so that when he would wake up he wouldn't think I ditched him or anything.

Good morning Troye!
Hope you had a good nights sleep! I went off to the main deck to see the sunrise. I would've woken you up but you looked so damn cute cuddled up in all those blankets and I didn't want to disturb you! If you wake up and I'm not back come meet me on the main deck!
- Connor

After I had finished writing the note I placed it on the dresser and slipped out the door, careful not to wake Troye up. I step out into the seventies-fashion carpeted hallway and I dragged my semi-tired feet along with me.

I catch myself in a yawn and I scruff with my hair, as of the moment I probably look like a giant tumbleweed or something. I trudge down the ship and find myself at the deck moments later.

I take the skyline in admiration. All I can see is the ocean for miles and miles on, but the way the sun looked over the horizon I couldn't help but pull out my phone and take somewhere around three billion pictures.

I shoved my phone back into my pocket and placed my elbows on the rail with my hands connected in front of them.

Suddenly I felt two arms wrap around my waist and I snapped around quickly to see who it was.

I was relived when it was Troye and he smiled giving me a quick kiss, but it still felt just like the first time.

We weren't the type to kiss every five seconds or so. But when the moment felt right we did, and when you are on a cruise ship and constantly surrounded by beautiful sights and you're with the person you cherish, it's almost always the right moment.

I took a deep breath as I looked back into the ocean. Troye still had a pretty tight grip on me, but that only lasted a few more seconds before he let go and stood next to me, but he was still visible from the corner of my eye.

"It's beautiful" He says, I turn to look at him, however his eyes were focused on the sea, they almost matched the color of the blue waters.

"Yea" is all I could manage to say, but my eyes stayed focused on him. He must have noticed my staring and he turned to me giving me a smile with a crimson color seeping through his cheeks.

"Did you know that tomorrow marks that we've known each other for 6 months?" He asks, I look to his hands where he's fiddling his fingers.

"Wow. Time really does fly." 6 months.
I didn't even know that we had any such "anniversary" coming up soon. I really lost track of time, but the fact that he remembered caused my lips to curve upward without me even noticing.
