"You did great I'm so proud!" Zoe squeezes me tight after the show as Dan and Bethany stand by.

"Yea, you were amazing" Beth says.

"Yea, you looked good too" Dan says brushing off his shoulder, proud of his work.

"Thank you, I honestly couldn't have done it without you guys, now this may be rushed but we have to get home, we really don't have time to waste, and I'm exhausted" I say rubbing the palm of my hand over my eye in exhaust.

"Ok, I'll call the driver" Zoe pulls out her phone and dials the number.

"Are you ok Mr. Franta?" Bethany asks concerned, I must look tired and sickly.

"Yes. I'm fine." I say sternly as if she were to ask again I would get mad.

"The driver will be here in a few minutes" Zoe says coming back to where I stand.

Those few minutes are filled with some silence. Dan and Bethany have a small conversation of their own but I'm on my phone checking Twitter and Instagram. I'm hoping for a text or call from Troye but I come to find nothing.

What if something happened to him? I hope he's ok. What if he's in trouble? Hurt? Sick? My mind races with terrible thoughts.

Connor, get yourself together.

I fall back into reality. I'm sure he's fine, he has a life too, he can't just wait by his phone all day preparing to text or call me.

"He's here" Zoe points to the window where the black car pulls up against the sidewalk.

We all go downstairs and walk into the crisp New York air. There's a slight chill but I feel a balance of warmth and coldness when I get into the car.

"Our houses" I direct the driver.

He drives to mine first because he knows to do that. Everyone almost knows to put my needs first. I've never really thought much of it, I thought it was something everyone just naturally did.

"Thank you" I give him a quick tip before walking into my house where the maids are rushing around.

"Are my suitcases put away?!" I yell hoping one of them will answer.

"Yes, yes they are" Colleen, one of my maids, appears from the corner.

"Thank you very much, has everything been cleaned?"

"Yea, the entire house" she puts her hands to her hips and wipes her forehead with exhaustion.

"You have much of my appreciation"

"Thank you, how was your trip to LA?"

"Lovely, how was the time here?"

"Good, we were able to get a lot done"

"Nice to hear, I wouldn't want to keep you any longer, you can go now, tell the other ladies they have the rest of the night off as well.

"Oh thank you so much sir" she leaves and almost immediately, the four other women go along with her outside.

I smile as they walk by and close the door for them on the way out.

I turn back at my silent house leaning against the door to catch my breath from running around all day. Not literally running- I mean- I don't run.

I then head up to my bedroom and get changed into my pajamas and silk robe. I place my phone on the table beside my bed and grab my remote before crawling under the duvet. I turn on the tv and watch some late night show. As I start to fall asleep I'm startled by the ringing of my phone.
