***Troye's P.O.V.***
The whole time nothing was said about the whole Twitter-boyfriend trend. He may have not even seen it. He must have been so busy he couldn't even go on Twitter.
3am and I haven't slept at all. After tossing and turning hour after hour I finally decide there's no point in even trying to sleep so I go downstairs to make myself some coffee.
I try and be as quiet as possible in hopes of not waking Connor up. However the damn creaky floorboards had a different plan.
I flinch when it creaks and try to continue tiptoeing.
"Troye..." Connor says in a sleepy voice. "Is that you?"
I don't bother to try and be quiet anymore and I just say "yes" and curse myself for being loud and the floor for being annoying.
"What are you doing up so early?"
I go to the kitchen as he stays layed on the couch.
"Making some coffee. Want any?" I offer.
"Sure, I assume you couldn't sleep?"
I mumble "no" and continue on making the coffee. When I'm done I let it sit and I walk to Connor who is now sitting up on the couch.
Now is the perfect time to bring up the twitter dilemma, you know, considering he's half asleep. But I can't find myself to say what I want. I take a moment to think about my wording and then it's just my mouth moving with no brain signal from there.
"So... did you check Twitter recently?"
"Oh... you mean the... the um..." he scratches the back of his neck most likely trying to find a way out of the conversation, when he realizes there's no avoiding it he simply says. "the boyfriend thing"
"Yea... pretty weird huh?" I'm mentally telling myself to shut up- or even better duck tape my mouth shut but my lips keep on moving.
"Not really, I mean I can see why people think that considering the articles and stuff, I'm used to it but I understand why it's awkward for you" He says with sympathy towards me.
"I'll get used to it soon enough" I let out a slight laugh to calm the atmosphere.
"I'm assuming that means we'll be spending more time together?" He smirks.
"I was hoping so" I smirk back to him and he looks down to the ground laughing. "I like these three in the morning chats with you"
I blush but I'm sure he couldn't tell since it was still dark outside.
Suddenly it's just a fit of staring. It's so easy to get lost in his eyes but the sound of the coffee pot brings me back to reality.
"I'm sure the coffees done" I get up and pour a cup of coffee, for myself, and then one for Connor.
I bring it to him and we both go out front and sit in the white, plastic chairs, watching the sun rise.
"So we should probably deny the rumors" I say taking a sip of coffee.
"Well..." he bites his lip with a nervous look- I can see this even though he won't face me.
"What?" I ask now curious as to what he has to say next.
"Uh... never mind" He takes a sip of coffee to try and avoid saying what he was going to originally.
"Just tell me" I say looking into the horizon.
"Maybe we could deny it later... like after we like..." I've never heard him so bad with his wording. He usually uses sophisticated words that I don't even understand.
