CHAPTER 4: Regrets

KIM'S POV

I took so long, really long with this mission. I shouldn't have bothered that kid, I can't understand myself either. The last time we talked wasn't that good, worst, we argued and it didn't end well. I messed up my hair. I really don't know what to do.

"Oiiii Kim, what have you done?"

Is caring to someone and going crazy part of my plan? No. It isn't, it shouldn't be.

I tried calling him but he didn't answer. I also tried texting him but I got no response.

The tables have turned, I was the one walking away from him and he keeps bugging me. Now that he's gone I'm the one doing that.

If ever I replied to his I love you's, how would this end?

Love isn't about that, I love him, I just realized that I do. But I know I will bring no good to his life. Watching him from afar is enough, as long as he's safe I will not barge in and make his life in threat. If not telling him what I feel could keep him safe, I'll keep it to myself.

I was walking towards the couch when something fell from my cupboard. It's a picture of him. I suddenly fell down on my knees and broke down in tears. I clenched my fist because I couldn't do a thing to be with him.

"I'm sorry, Chay." I can only touch his face from the pictures he left me.

I can't stand watching him get hurt just because I was with him. I grabbed the box where I stashed all the memories we had. I kept everything he gave me. I couldn't stop my tears from falling just thinking of Porchay.

*ring*

Kinn Calling...

I wiped my tears before answering.

"What?" I feel a bit nervous because we don't call each other when it's not very urgent.

"Porchay is.."

"What happened to him?!" Please, don't tell me he was kidnapped again.

"He was gone. Porsche and Tankhun don't know yet, they will burst out if they knew. I just can't go because they will get suspicious if they know I am also gone." After hearing that I dropped the box I was holding. My world immediately stopped. No. No. Porchayy..

"Where is he?"

"I don't think someone got him, I sent my men there to watch him. I called you because if something happens, no one can protect him like you do." he then hangs up.

My world literally stopped, how can this kid just walk out of the house without a single guard with him?

"Porchay, please be safe. Wait for me..."

In the end, All I learned was how to love somebody, even if you can't be with them...
