CHAPTER 17: Another Guest

PORCHAY'S POV

The door opened, Macau then entered. P'Tay looks confused seeing Cau enter my room.

"What brings you here, Macau?" P'Tay asked him. Cau wai'd at P'Tay.

"Just went to visit Porchay, Khrup." He then sat on the couch.

"Kid, your hair is too long." P'Tay whispered at me.

"Oh, then I'll go upstairs so both of you can talk." P'Tay stood up. We both just nodded.

P'Tay bent down and whispered at me

"Go slay, Porchay." P'Tay said. Really, Phi?

"P'Tay, Khrup?" I glared at him.

"HAHAHA just kidding, Chay. I'll head out now." Me and Macau wai'd goodbye to him and he went out.

Cau then sat near me. He placed his palm on my forehead.

"Are you okay, Chay?"

"Khrup. I'm okay now. Just needed a little rest."

"Call me next time if you're sick." I'm now wondering the existence of the doctors downstairs.

"Khrup."

One of the bodyguards then knocked on my door again.

"Khun Porchay, Khrup?"

"Khrup?"

"Khun Kim already left, Khrup. He said he has errands to run." He left and didn't tell me personally? He seems to be in a rush then.

"Khrup. Thank you, Khrup."

"Khun Porchay, Khrup. Khun Korn wanted to see you later, Khrup. He'll just send someone in your room when his meeting is done, Khrup."

"Khrup."

"I think Uncle Korn wants to tell you something important." I then looked at Cau.

"Not much, I think he'll just ask if I'm okay."

"You really are important in this house, I'm wondering why?" Cau, that's not a good thing to ask.

"Because I think I'm the youngest here?" He just nodded. Cau, what are you thinking? I'm feeling a bit uneasy.

"Oh, Chay, I wanted to ask you, it's okay if you don't want to answer. I'm wondering why the main family let you live here?" Because my life was in danger, when your brother together with P'Kinn's ex kidnapped me.

"I think it's because Hia and P'Kinn were officially together. P'Kinn asked Khun Korn to let me live here for Hia." He then nodded.

"HAHA sorry for asking too many personal questions, I'm just curious." Curiosity kills, Cau.

"Por- Khun Porchay, Khrup. Khun Korn wanted to see you." My heart skipped a beat for a moment. P'Chan doesn't know how to knock. How can he not know that Cau is here.

"Sure, Khrup. I'll go there in a moment, Khrup." He bowed then left.

"Cau, I'm sorry I have to go." He just smiled at me.

"It's okay. I'll just visit you soon, I also have to go home. I think my brother is also done talking to P'Kinn." I just nodded. He then messed my hair up and left.

Arghh, why do they always mess my hair up. These people are frustrating. Instead of taking a rest, I'm busy entertaining them. Give me rest.

I saw Tay go upstairs, I assume Porchay's alone. I then walked towards his room when I overheard him talking to someone. I peaked a little to see who he's talking to, then saw Macau with him. I called one of the guards.

"Tell Porchay I left to run some errands."

"Khrup." I walked out and all the guards I passed by bowed at me.

I keep wondering why he wanted to be close with Porchay. I hope my hunch is not true. Trusting the minor family? no way, but he's just a kid. Nevermind.
