CHAPTER FOUR

".. Is there any employee here name Y/n Marchand?"

I didn't realize the words leave my mouth out of my curiosity. Am I look like creep? I look at the guy who widen his eyes, and smiling appear on his face soon after, he's about to answer it, but I stop him.

"Never mind."

"Alright, sir."

He left as I sigh in relief, checking out V hyung who still focus on his phone. I lean on my chair, looking around the employees who walking here and there, there's no Y/n.

"Are you here because you are looking for someone, Jungkook?" A question that is from V hyung got me startled and instantly bring me back to reality.

"What?"

"The person you are asking to that waitress."

"It's nothing, hyung, I'm here to eat, why would I look for someone here?" No matter how hard I try to hide, he still gonna find out.

"You're not taking me here for nothing, Jungkook, I barely wear a proper clothes and this is freaking fancy restaurant, you make me weak by sitting in Italian restaurant."

"It's not my fault, I told you to changed but you didn't care."

"You didn't tell me where we were going, you just said we're going to eat."

He's right, I can't help but chuckle seeing him struggling to act cool as possible.

"I'm sorry, okay, I promise you will get a good food today, so stop being grumpy."

"Buy me burgers as well later."

"Okay."

The foods we order is now served in front of us. We both eat them silently until we finish. I have to admit, this for is 5 stars rate. I usually did not into Italian food for a usual meal, but try once in a month, why not.

V hyung drink his water as he lean on his chair, caressing his stomach and let out a small moan in satisfaction.

"You still need burgers?" I joke with him as he look at me.

"I am, now let's go get them."

I nod, as I wave my hand to the waitress to get a check. I know this is going to be a lot of cost but it's worth it. I can't believe I spend almost two hundred thousand won just for lunch.

As I'm about to leave the restaurant, I catch a glimpse of the kitchen when one of the servers came out with the tray of food, Y/n was there, wearing a chef vest and apron, focusing on the withe plate in front of her.

I freeze, that's her, she's here, she's the chef here. She press the bell giving the servers a sign that the food is ready to be served. A smile grew on my face before I walk away.

4 hours later.

I reach home soon as I drop V hyung back to his sanctuary. I'm tired, I wanna take a long shower so I can relax.

My mom had a night shift today, and sometimes taking an extra shift when it's emergency. She's a doctor, so I'm not surprise. As long as we keep in touch, I won't worry so much and make sure she eat well.

30 minutes later.

I walk to the window and open it along with the curtain. Scanning around my neighbor's house, it's quiet. She's not home yet, I go back to my closet to get a shirt and sitting on my gaming chair.

It's been awhile since I was busy with work, I decided to play a little while.

Suddenly, my ears alerts by the sound of car doors being closed. I peak down from my window and noticed my neighbor just arrived. She and her little niece get inside their house hand in hand.
