CHAPTER THIRTY SIX

At every moment I would be really excited being introduced to new people. But not today. I can't stop being nervous each step closer to the Hall room. Where everyone is gathering and wait for me to be shown as his wife. Even the talk earlier is enough to make me shocked. But I conceal it well. Knowing he would do everything for his family.

Me and Irish. We're his family now.

The Hall room door is open. Everyone is here filling every chairs. He hold my hand as we both walk towards the podium. There's a chair there. And I wouldn't dare to look at them in their eyes. Some of them must be judging my looks, or underestimate me. That's the negativity I can't clearly see from their whispers the moment we entered.

This time I have to build some confident. I look at front, most of them are guys. Old and having a good style of fashion.

There's also young woman as well. They are equals.

As expected, their eyes on me. Whispers can be heard here and there at some spot. They will not keep their mouths shut for a moment. Especially there's a new victim as their targets.

Hoseok start with his speech, at first, he talk about business. And then he came to his point. He call me to come to the podium.

I came approach him, straighten up with confidence. He take my hand in his. Smiling at me and I return the favour, smiling at him and then look forward.

"This is Jung Y/n. My wife."

He addressed me with his family name, and I'm quite surprised. After that, I bow to everyone and they are all standing also bow at me. None of them has ever dare to look at me after his first speech.

"Nice to meet you all."

His speech continues to tell his employees other things that important. Telling them that now I'm the chairwoman of his company, whenever they have something to discuss about business, I have to be there to know what's going on.

And before he end his speech, he told the important staffs to be in the meeting room. And he goes down from the podium. Take my hand and leave this Hall room.

"Thank you for making this quick, I was really nervous there." I tell him while we're walking, and he look at me, softly caress my hand with his thumb.

"How about now?" He ask with care.

"I'm feeling better, I just don't like it when people look at me too much."

"I'll tell them to lower their gaze whenever we pass by." He stops, touching my face in order to make me calm. I just smiles to him and we continue walk to his meeting room.

I feel like I only giving him more work by staying here.

"I will stay in your room while you had your meeting, I won't bother you." I stop in front of the room before we gets in. He frown.

"You won't bother me, in fact I want to introduce you to the shareholders in person, directors and other important staffs." He say, carefully caress my head. But I didn't realize some of his staff are walking behind us. I just sense their presence somehow, feeling like were both being watched.

"Alright, if you say so."

"Don't be nervous, I'll be with you." He convinced me, and hold my hand as we both enter the meeting room.

Those are he meant by important staffs is already there waiting for us. They greeted us politely as they bow while we were walking towards our seats. As expected, he choose only the middle age guys to handle such an important position in his company. Hope Holdings, he named it.
