The voice of Irish startled me as we both look at her. She chuckles as she enter the car without waiting for me. I push my inner cheek with my tongue and enter the car as well. Three of us went back home.
20 minutes later
Y/n and Irish getting out of my car and I do the same. Irish come to me as she hugging her bear plush.
"Is doctor Imo at home?" She ask me.
"Yes, she's not working today."
"Can I play with doctor, uncle Kookie?"
"Sure, baby... I mean Irish," I chuckles.
"You can call me baby, I'm fine," she shrugged cutely.
"Haha, okay.."
"Thank you uncle Kookie." She ran inside my house leaving us both.
Y/n and I unloaded the groceries and bring it inside her house first. It was all Irish's toys. She put it in the kitchen counter to wash it later. She says she's going to help me set the yard for party later and also help the cooking.
I am not complain, I like her to be around me so I will be happy. She carry the paper bag filled with vegetables and fruits while I bring the heavy one, we both get inside my house.
"Good afternoon, Imo." She greet my mom as she come to her to give her a hug, she was kinda surprise when my mom do that.
"Good afternoon, baby, how was your date with my son?" Is she serious? I look at her in disbelief as she wink at me.
"Uh, it was good... But I don't know it was a date, though." She laugh as she look at me, I'm sure my face are red due the embarrassment right now.
"Oh it is, he dressed up and used the whole bottle of his perfume to look and smells good just for you." She has to stop.
"Mom." I warn her, slowly groan to make her stop.
"What?"
"Let's get the groceries to the kitchen, Y/n." I pull her hand and take her to the kitchen to leave my mom alone, she chuckles behind me but I ignore it.
She still chuckles as she get the groceries out and take a big bowl to place the fruits there and wash it on the sink.
"Y/n, don't listen to my mom, okay, she did that to make me embarrassed." I tell her and stand next to her. She look at me and smiles.
"Are you embarrass now? So she tell the truth?"
"Don't tease me."
"So it wasn't a date?" She raise her brows.
"No, if I wanna asked you out, I won't waste my time to go to a grocery shopping, I would have take you to a beach or having dinner in a fancy restaurant."
She look at me with her serious gaze and got me realize what I just said just entirely exposing myself. L
"Do you want to asked me out?" Gosh, what's wrong with this girl, she literally can guess anything I had in my head, yes I do, I want to. I internally scream but nothing came out of my mouth.
"It doesn't have to go to a beach or fancy restaurant, we can just hangout, to a park, and public library. " she lean in the kitchen counter.
"Yeah, I know, I just, I'm not sure you wanna hangout with me at all, Y/n."
"I want to, why wouldn't I? All you need to do is ask."
I feel relief, we both share a sweet smile.
I call V hyung, Jimin, and my boss, Yoongi hyung to come to my house at 3 pm. I prepare the back yard for a barbecue party. My mom and Y/n prepare the foods, put the meat and other ingredients on the container and keep them on the fridge.
