Kingdom Hearts: Independence Day

Chapter 12

July 3

Scene then New York City...in ruins. The World Trade Center is also destroyed, along with the other buildings, and the Statue of Liberty is down in the water, but not sinking. The aliens' weapon is closing up as the wind blows. In the castle, Maleficent looks at the destruction with Cosmo Queen. 

Maleficent: Very impressive. My husband would be most pleased at this. The heroes will never be able to handle the Harvesters. Let them proceed with their work, Cosmo Queen.

Cosmo Queen: As you command, my mistress. 

In El Toro, Sora and his group are in their own room. They're listening to the radio. 

Radio: Reports are unclear as to the extent of the devastation, but from all accounts, Los Angeles, Washington, and New York have been left in ruins...

The heroes are all shocked at this. They all look at each other. Yumi takes out her phone, and tries to call Ulrich. She dials his number, and waits. It rings nine times, and it goes to his voicemail. She hangs up, and tries again. But it does the same thing again. She covers her mouth, thinking that Ulrich was killed. 

Sora: Oh, no. 

Ruby: Our friends were in there...

Odd: Maybe they all made it out in time. Right?

Yumi: Odd, Ulrich is not answering his phone. 

As she tries again, Steve comes into the room to check on them. 

Steve: Hello. 

Riku: Who are you?

Steve: I'm Captain Steven Hiller. United States Marine Corp. You must be the guys who saved that plane from getting destroyed. 

Sora: Yeah. Look, we're not having a good morning right now. 

Steve: I know. But it's time for our counterattack. And we're gonna need your help. 

Yang looks at her sister, and they both nod. 

Ruby: Let's go, guys. 

Sora sighs, and they follow Steve out of their room, and they walk to the briefing room with the other pilots. Meanwhile, with Air Force One, it's flying in the air, with two F-18s in the air with it. Inside, Arnold is sitting down, covering himself. He thinks his son has died in L.A. Jeremy covers his face as he sighs. Aelita comforts him. 

Jeremy: All of those people...gone...

Arnold: We could have evacuated the cities hours ago...

Namine: A lot of people died today. 

Aelita: How many didn't have to? And Ulrich and some of our friends were in Los Angeles. 

Penny: Maybe they made it out in time. 

Just then, Colonel Majors comes in. They all look at him. 

Jeremy: Any news on our friends?

Majors: Well, your friend Sora and his group are in El Toro, and they're gonna help out our forces in the counterattack. But there's no word on your other friends. 

Jeremy sighs, and looks down. Aelita comforts him more. Kairi is glad that Sora is okay, along with Riku and Roxas, but is sad, thinking that Ulrich and his group were killed in the wall of fire. But back in Los Angeles, in a destroyed sewer tunnel, someone climbs out of a destroyed exit door. It's Jasmine. She has Dylan, Boomer, and Brand with her. They are alive. Comng up behind them...is Ulrich and his group, along with survivors. They all walk through the destroyed tunnel, and they come to the exit. They all exit out of it, and outside, is the ruins of Los Angeles. Everything is destroyed. Some stuff are still burning. Everyone looks around.

Dylan: What happened, mommy? 

Jasmine: I don't know, baby. 

Nora: My gosh. Look at this place. Completely destroyed. 

Jaune: Do you think anyone could have survived? 

Ulrich: I don't know. 

Ren: So, what do we do now?

Toji: Well, we gotta get out of here. Hopefully, there's some vehicles here that are still working and not destroyed. 

Coco: Well, we'd better get started. And we should look for survivors along the way. 

They all walk forward to get moving. Can they find anyone that survived the chaos? And hopefully, they'll let their friends know that they're alive. 

Here's the 12th chapter of Kingdom Hearts: Independence Day. It's the aftermath of the disaster. Three cities destroyed, and millions dead. And it's on for the heroes.
