Brooklyn POV:

Thinking back on the events that happened yesterday afternoon, my heart starts to beat faster. You stupid heart what's wrong with you? As I walked to work, with headphones in my ears, I was lost in my thoughts. Will he still be here today? Will he still look at me with such a sweet smile today? Oh, Brooklyn, pull yourself together! Exclude this man from your thoughts!
As soon as I got to the small room where I usually do the make-up for the actors, I unpacked my equipment. Next to me, Sarah was doing make-up for the other main character, so she didn't even notice for a moment that I was blushing a little because of my thoughts. The only thing missing is for him to ask questions. Just as I was finishing up a side character's make-up, I glanced towards the door. And there He stood. He greeted us with an unconscious sweet smile on his face. Wake Up Brooklyn! Have you taken a breath in the last few minutes? Breathe!
- Chris, I still have to finish this makeup, only then can I deal with you! - Sarah told him as their eyes met.
- Don't worry, just do it! Brooklyn, can you do my makeup? - Mr. Perfection asked me.
- That I? - I asked back, I must have heard wrong.
- Yes, you did a great job yesterday too! I dare to leave myself to you! - this man with brown hair and iris blue eyes smiled at me. Oh, please don't smile anymore! I can't think rationally like that! - Do you have time to do it?
- Um...of course! If you want to! - I answered. Then he took a seat in the chair. As I did him makeup, our eyes met almost every second. I just love these eyes. I want to examine life with these eyes. To see how he sees everything. Do you see yourself as perfect with your own eyes? Sarah's phone rang and we were taken out of this romantic moment.
- You're done! What kind? Does it fit? - I asked.
- Perfect! You are very kind, thank you - he said with a smile.
- There's really nothing, because this is my job! - I replied smiling. I then turned towards the table to pack up.
- Brooklyn! I was wondering if you would like to have coffee with me during a break in the recording? - Chris asked me. Had I heard wrong? Pull yourself together Brooklyn, what are you thinking this is not a date that should make you feel embarrassed and nervous like a teenager.
- Sounds good! - I answered. And I can't believe I got into it. Since when have I been such a pumpkin girl? I mean, I've never been that shy woman, but in the presence of this man, I still didn't feel like myself.
- Great, I'll look for you during the break, okay? Or will you also be present at the recording today? - Chris asked.
- Today Sarah, I will prepare the others! - I answered Mr. Perfect.
- Then now I know where to look for you! - Chris smiled as he got out of the chair and headed for the door. The very thought made me want to smile. He and I have coffee together during the break.
- Brooklyn! - said the man back from the door.
- Um? Here you go?
- Until then, have a nice day! - the man smiled at me.
- You can have a nice day! - I answered him smiling with a small blush on my face.
Like a small child, I was excited during my work. Several people noticed this, and they might have thought that a man was involved. Then the awaited person appeared at the door. I was just putting the finishing touches on one of the actors, so he sat down and waited for me to finish my work. They got to know each other well with the person sitting in the chair, because apart from work, they also started talking about personal matters. It was interesting to look at this man in the mirror. A sweet smile, and when he hears something funny with his right hand, he touches his left chest. As soon as I finished, they patted each other on the shoulder and then the person who was still sitting in the chair left for a few seconds.
- Can we go? - he asked, and I could see a little excitement in his eyes.
- Yes! We can go! - I answered.
As we walked towards the cafe, I could see how much of a gentleman he was in every little act. He opened the door ahead of me in the cafe, so I went ahead. As we stood and waited for our turn, we looked at the offers. Honestly, I didn't drink coffee often, I wasn't a fanatical coffee fan, but I didn't want to refuse this offer.
- What kind would you like? - he asked me.
- A caramel latte! I answered the man. Then we followed. There was a middle-aged lady behind the counter who had a very nice, reassuring smile.
- Hello Chris! How are you? - the woman asked the man.
- Hi Anne! Great and you? - the man answered.
- Well, you know, work after work, but I'm not complaining! Oh! Didn't you come alone today? Who is she? Isn't she your girlfriend? - she asked with a little excitement in her voice. I think I turned as red as cancer after hearing this question. Girlfriend? I?
- A dear friend of mine from work! - answered Chris with complete calmness.
- Very nice girl! Just skillfully! - the lady winked at Chris.
- Anne! - Mr. Perfection told him. And I couldn't help but smile at the man's red blush. He's sweet when he's confused. And this lady was very nice to me. She talked to everyone as if she were everyone's mother a little bit. I loved people like that. And maybe a little Chris too?
