Chris POV:

I'm standing here in front of Brooklyn's house and I'm nervous. But I have to calm down, I was afraid that my excitement would completely ruin our evening and I didn't want that. Now I have a chance to charm him. I rang the bell. Then a minute later she appeared at the door in a gorgeous dress.

It was breathtaking. The way she stood in front of me in this white dress, it was like she was an angel.
- You're b-beautiful. - I stammered looking for the words, which were not enough to describe her anyway.
- Thank you. - she blushed, then closed the door behind her.
- Can we go? - I tried to collect myself.
- Yes. - she said with a smile. So we started towards the car as she put her arm around me, then I opened the door for her. As I got in next to her, the "old" memory circled again. The smell. That sweet smell. I just love it. On the way, we talked more than on our last trip, initially only about today. We both had a tiring day.
- Choose! Option A or B? - I asked her with a smile.
- I hope both of them are some hyper-super cute thing and not something scary. - she laughed to herself.
- Hm, it wouldn't be a bad idea. Shall we go to a drive-in horror movie? - I asked her.
- I'm afraid that I would scream the whole time even though my eyes were closed. - she laughed to himself.
- Even if I were by your side? - I asked her, and she seemed a little embarrassed. I liked how I could make her blush with such small things.
- No...then maybe I wouldn't be afraid. - she looked at me smiling, and for some reason this answer made my heart beat faster.
- Relax, I'm not taking you to a horror- place...yet. - I joked with her.
- Maybe on the next date? - I asked the question.
- Will there be a next one? - she looked at me with those beautiful, dazzling eyes.
- I hope so. - I told her, smiling. I then parked the car.
- We arrived. - I switched off my seat belt and as I got out I opened Brooklyn's door as well.
- You...how did you know? - Brooklyn asked with sparkling eyes and enthusiasm in his voice.
- What? - I asked smiling because otherwise I had no idea what she was talking about.
- How is this my favorite restaurant? - she jumped as fast as her shoes allowed. The research and articles you can read on the internet are really true...girls have two personalities, one before eating and one after eating.
- Seriously?
- Yes! - she smiled.
- Me too! - I told her as I thought about how many things we still have in common.
As soon as we entered, we were greeted by the usual familiar atmosphere. The restaurant is owned by an extremely nice family, who always care about the satisfaction of their guests.
- Hello Chris! - the male owner, Roy, greeted me. - Oh Brooklyn! What a surprise! Our two favorite guests!
- Hi Roy! - Brooklyn greeted him with a smile, which made me freeze for a moment, it's unbelievable that he can always cast a spell with this one thing. - How are you? - asked.
- Great. - the restaurant owner smiled back. - Just not..? - he pointed back and forth at our couple.
- No...that is, not yet. - I answered.
- Yet? - she laughed to herself.
- Look here, Brooklyn dear. You couldn't find a nicer, more selfless, more lovable boy by your side. - Roy took her hand.
- You're telling? - asked the owner, as she then turned towards me with a smile.
- That!
- Well, it will be clear. So far, it's not bad for a first date. - she said, turning to me and smiling.
- First date? - Roy's eyes lit up. - Then sit down and let me surprise you today. - Roy offered.
- I trust you Roy. - I laughed to myself.
- Me too completely. - said Brooklyn, agreeing to the surprise.
We talked a lot during dinner. As I got to know her more and more, I felt more and more that I would like to listen to her talk about herself for the rest of her life.
Then I asked for the bill.
- Roy, there is nothing on this. - I remarked to him.
- A gift. - answered this nice man.
- Roy! - I said his name a little more emphatically.
- I hope that with this pleasant dinner I could contribute to you having a second date in the evening. - he winked at us.
- I don't know, it depends on Brooklyn. - I remarked. - I would be very happy if I could ask you out on a date, but I don't know if you would come with me.
- Thank you Roy for the gift night. And yes, you contributed a lot to the fact that we spent such a pleasant evening, and if next time Chris asks me out on a date, I will be happy to say yes. - Brooklyn said with a smile, and as soon as he finished saying this, I became incredibly happy. Maybe she started to like me too. I was hoping for that.
