Brooklyn POV:

The fundraising event was a great success. A lot of donations were collected with which they will be able to help children. This made me happy.  ❤️ I had a great conversation with Stella, but she soon got tired. So Chris carried his niece to the car in his arms. It was sweet how he took care of her. Chris didn't come back after that, and for some reason I hoped to see him again, but I gave up on that and started to pack my things. However, this wonderful man suddenly appeared behind me.
- Jeez, you scared me! - I got it to my chest.
- Sit down. - he said, I didn't really understand what he wanted now. - Just sit down.
Like good little girls, I took the word, so I sat down on the chair. And he selected my paint set on the table.
- What are you doing? - I smiled because I didn't understand what he wanted.
- You tagged me too, I'll tag you too. - he said as he took out a black paint.
- Do I have a choice? - I asked him, and he just shook his head that he wasn't there.  Giving in my waist, I held my hand for him.
- Close your eyes. - he said, and I fulfilled whatever he said, any request, without question. - Done! You can open your eyes.
As I opened my eyes, I noticed a drawing on my hand. I received the same star as the one I drew, and a C.E. monogrammed.
- The C.E. What did I get a monogram for? - I looked at him curiously.
- For being my star. - he said, I think I died there.  Chris showed his feelings for me more and more bravely, which I'm not saying wasn't good, but he was able to embarrass me so much that you could have poked my red head out from a distance of ten kilometers.
- Since when did brave Chris become the team captain? - I asked while trying not to faint from my embarrassment.
- Ever since I feel that you and your feelings are not indifferent to me. - he answered completely honestly.
And he was right. The more time we spend together, the stronger my feelings get. But for some reason I was afraid to admit it, so I played dumb.
- I don't know what you're talking about. - I smiled at him.
- It's okay, I'll wait until you feel able to say it. I'm not in a hurry.
- You are cute.
- But, if you happen to say "Chris, I really, really like you" I wouldn't be angry. - he laughed at the end.
- Chris! - I said to him.
- I was just kidding. Just kidding. - he raised his hands in a defensive position. - When do you finish anyway?
- I'm packing and I'm ready. - I told him as I stood up and started to pack my make-up and paint things...again.
- Do you feel like making ice mush? I was thinking about ice cream, but I know that ice mush is your everything, so I thought we could go.
- Only if I can pay now. - I told him firmly.
- Nope. It suits men. That's how my parents raised me.
- Many of your male companions could have been given parenting advice. - I joked with him.
- So can I take this as a yes?
- Yes, it is. - I smiled at him.
- Then I'll help and we can go.
- Okay.
Chris helped me pack my stuff and put the bag in his car. As I sat next to him, I remembered our first trip when I was so embarrassed that I didn't even talk to him. Now I just miss it when I don't hear his voice, when I don't see his smile.
We went to the beach, after getting the cold cooler we started walking towards the beach barefoot in the sand. It was a pleasant feeling. As we ate our ice mush, we walked some more. I thought I was having fun with him, so I turned to face him, smiled at him and asked him to catch me. However, you have to realize that he is quite athletic, so I didn't have much chance to escape from him. So after about a minute of pincers, with a small wrong move, we ended up lying in the sand. He caught me. As my hands gripped his chest to keep a small distance between us, I met his eyes. A strange feeling came over me, my heart was pounding in my throat. I was embarrassed by what he noticed and smiled. My lips were watched by those wonderful iris blue eyes, but it was not violent. He planted a small kiss on my forehead. So my heartbeat had no chance to recover.
- What are you doing to me? - he asked as he continued to look into my eyes and slowly caressed my hair.
I couldn't answer. Even I didn't even know what he was doing to me. Is this what love would feel like? But believe me, I've been in love before, but it wasn't even close to this. Would I be in love for the first time? And my head was spinning with such similar thoughts.
