Chris POV:
When we asked for our coffees in the cafe, instead of taking a seat inside, we felt like walking. So while our break lasted, we enjoyed this wonderful day walking side by side. We sipped our coffee slowly. As I watched the speechless woman next to me, I knew that now was my chance to get to know her a little.
- Why did you choose make-up as a profession? - I asked the girl. As I asked the question, she seemed surprised that I was trying to start a conversation with her. However, after a few seconds she smiled.
- Since I didn't manage to get into the university, I had to look for other options!
- What did you really want to study? - I asked her.
- I wanted to be a teacher! - she answered with a small smile on her face. She must have been a wonderful teacher. As soon as you look at her, you know how much love resides in this girl.
- And you Chris? - she asked me, so I returned to reality from my thoughts.
- What about me? - I asked.
- Have you always wanted to be an actor?
- My mom is also an actor, so somehow I felt like I was born into this profession!
- So you finally made your dream come true, didn't you? - she asked as her eyes watched each other.
- We can say! - I answered, but her eyes completely took my mind off me again. What is this girl doing to me? We walked a little more and talked mainly about my current role.
- Oh shit! I have to go back! - she started running towards the studio. - Oh really! Thanks for the coffee Chris! - she turned back to me for the last time and entered the building. Then this charming girl disappeared from my eyes. Unfortunately, I didn't see her during the filming. I was hoping that she would be as close to me as she was yesterday. So that I can smell that wonderful sweet smell again. When I finished filming, I sadly noticed that her bag had already disappeared from the make-up room, she must have gone home. So I caught myself, got into the car and did the same. It was a tiring day, but I felt like I had to go for a run. So I got dressed in my running clothes and put on running shoes. We had a great time, the sun was shining. There was no sign of yesterday's slushy, rainy weather. It seems that a lot of things could have been going through my head because I didn't even notice that I had been doing the rounds without stopping for an hour. I went for a run exceptionally close to the shore, and how well I did. As I sat in the sand and watched the slowly setting sun, my eyes noticed Her. She was playing with her dog right next to the water. The close relationship between them was visible. And that smile. I wanted to be the one to conjure up this sweet smile from her. But it looks like your dog has more talent for this. I looked at this oblivious happiness on her face, which just shone with the sunset behind her. And only one thing came to mind. I want. I want this sparkling, shining happiness, that sweet and self-effacing smile. Why don't I have the courage to tell her? Maybe because I'm afraid she'll reject me? She's so special, she's not like other girls. I have constantly experienced throughout my life, especially since I became a better known actor, that people seek my company. It's rare who doesn't have an ulterior motive.
Yet she is. I don't think she's like that. She is an angelic creature, whom one would most like to shut away, just to protect her from all pain, so that this smile never disappears from her face. This girl deserves better than me, yet...I still want her to be able to smile like that because of me. What about you Chris? It's...it's almost impossible isn't it? What if you're not the one for her? What if you can't make her happy? I sat on the beach with such thoughts in my head until I met her beautiful eyes and angelic smile.
- Jeez! - I was scared, I thought so much that I didn't even notice that this wonderful woman was squatting here in front of me.
- Did I scare you? - she laughed.
- Sorry, I was just thinking!
- I realized! - she smiled. - Everything is alright? - asked. How cute how worried she is.
- Everything is perfect...now! - I answered her question, while her furry friend began to forcefully approach my face to lick me. She was a cute dog.
- Bailey, don't! - she said to the dog as she was about to pull him back by the collar. - It's not allowed! What about you? This is not how you used to behave!
- It's okay, just leave it! Very cute! - I caressed the little furry faces. She loved it.
- Don't be angry, he's usually quite aloof, especially with strangers! I don't know what got into him!
- He must know that I love dogs! - I continued petting the dog while watching Brooklyn's smile. Does this little fur seem to bring me closer to her heart? Or is it because of her dog that she has such a sweet smile?
- We were about to leave! - she put the leash on the dog. - I just thought I'd say hello! - she smiled at me. I was saddened to receive the news that it is already going. However, something unexpected happened.
- Maybe...of course, if you have nothing else to do...would you like to go for a walk with us? - she asked to my surprise. It made my heart beat faster, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't like that feeling. So I got up from the sand and headed home with Bailey and Brooklyn.
