The Winning Side

After your encounter, Macaque was soon on foot to track the group since his vehicle crashed in the storm.

He soon opened the compass LBD gave him as he soon saw a reflection of you making him remember what happened.

*Flashback to you and Macaque's 'thoughtful' reunion.*

"ENOUGH!"

"That is enough, Macaque."

He couldn't believe his eyes.

The person he cared for so dearly that he thought he lost was right in front of him seeming alive and well.

"Wha...(Y/N)...? Lotus...? Is that r-really you...? You're alive...? B-but I saw you disappear...I saw you die..."

You sighed, "It's a long story but I managed to escape, I kept my identity hidden from you and the others thinking that if Lady Bone Demon was gone that evil will stop rising and go after me instead. But sadly, it just decided to target someone else. I'm so sorry for not being there when you needed someone the most...I am truly sorry."

Macaque tried to reach out to her but was trembling and thought she would crumble in his hands if he got too close, "It's all okay...I can fix this...! WE can fix this...! All I need is to bring back the kid and Wukong. Then, we can finally be back together again! Like old times!"

You only lowered your head but soon looked at the shadow monkey in the eyes, "I'm sorry Macaque...I cannot do that...I cannot give away my husband and friend who I cherish as my own child. I am sorry this has had to come like this as a first reunion...Goodbye." You soon raised your hand to ready an attack as Macaque stood stiff.

"But...Lotus...I...We can still work this out right? I....I....I STILL CARE FOR YOU!" Cried out Macaque as you gasped in shock.

Soon MK's metal bar that was supposed to land on Macaque's head but it was supposed to land on one of the engines exploded.

Macaque who was behind it was in shock and tried to reach out to you but Wukong grabbed your body out of the way since a flying piece of metal was about to hit you.

There goes the shadow monkey falling from the ship as his last memory was your shocked face.

*Flashback end*

*To before, when the mayor captured Macaque*

He was dropped to the top of LBD's mech as the monkey tried to hit him back soon almost fell off the mech when the mayor disappeared with he portal. Macaque soon looked around him in surprised of all what LBD already did to the world.

"The staff?" Questioned the warrior as he saw te frozen artifact.

"Well, you've sure been busy." Remarked Macaque with a nervous smirk.

"Tell me. What madness awoke in you when you forsaken your oath? When did you decide to betray me?" Asked the female demon in the air launching her wrath on the earth.

"Listen. Lady Bone De-"

"have you forgotten who I am? WHAT I am? I who returned you to the mortal plain. All in exchange for such, a little favor. But when the time came. You'd free me. Aid in my pursuit. But no, the moment you were brought a second chance you rebelled against your fate. FOOL." Said the LBD.

"So...You want something..." Said the shadow monkey as he was being suppressed by the demon in front of him.

"I offer a chance of redemption. Bring me the Monkey King and his protoge, and I might deem you worthy of my mercy. Oh. And I heard about this newcomer as well. Bring them as well f they seem powerful enough. If not. Let them be." The female demon soon gave Macaque a compass.
