Festival Fugitives

Two episodes in a row?!

Wow...! I'm on a roll!!!

Halfway through the season! Yay! Sorry, I didn't do "Claim to Flame" The episode revolved around Mei and her worries about still being the same despite all the adventures they went through and about the Samadhi Fire. So basically, they just gave us some more Red Son and Mei together with a mix of Pigsy and Tang in some parts. It was a good episode in my opinion!

Anywho! Let's get to the festival which the group will probably crash...(Accidentally...)

"The White Tiger and Teal Dragon Festival," Tang informed the group about the said event, "a world-renowned showcase of art, culture, and culinary street wood delights! And this year a special treat, the festival is crawling with CELESTIAL WARRIORS ALL LOOKING FOR US!!" He soon shouted in fright when seeing the said guards.

The group all hid in a nearby bush, you helped Tang calm down so he wouldn't reveal your hiding spots, "Ah-ta-ta, relax, Tangy. I think the Celestial Host has better things to do than chase around little 'ol uses," Mei spoke up to help comfort the elder male.

"Mei's right!" Sandy agreed, having Mo and Yang on his shoulders, "They gotta have their hands full with that donked-up sky," he looked up at the sky beginning to crack up again.

You immediately winced in pain, making MK beside you hold your figure, "I'm fine, dear, I'm okay," you assured you, caressing his head, "Okay," he whispered, trying to understand.

"EXACTLY!" Tang suddenly interrupted, "And we're the ones they think are responsible! We can't go in there! WE'RE WANTED FUGITIVES!" He bellowed making Pigsy cover his mouth before they were found out.

"Okay! Dial it back, we are trying to HIDE here," the pig demon tried to calm down his friend, "But yeah, this uh...this does seem like a terrible idea."

MK realized the atmosphere was negative, so he decided to comfort them, "Look, two of the stones pretty much found us. And we were barely even wearing our searching caps!" He grew more confident, "It's like we found them because of desti-" he was cut off by Pigsy.

"DO NOT SAY THAT WORD!"

The young hero chuckled, "Ah, fine. But I don't know, this...this just feels right. We've got to choose our own path. And be here now," his mentors were quite proud of his small speech.

The group heard sniffles and noticed you wiping a few stray tears from your faces, "What?" You asked the group, "I'm a mom of two, actually, four, who is exhausted by their hyperactivity AND! I have to deal with the world turning into ruins since it's MY job to keep it from shattering. So DO NOT judge me!" You ranted quite annoyed.

Wukong and the others gave a salute, "Yes ma'am!"

The said "hyperactive" children were seen a bit confused, "Who's hyperactive...?" MK asked Mei who just shrugged, "Meh. Who knows?"
