A happy ending for a happy family!

It was a few days after the day MK and his team defeated the Lady Bone Demon at last.

The city needed a bit more work to repair but everything else was okay.

"A hardy meal richid of sacral nutrients is JUST what the body needs to refuel after battle!" Said Sandy as Nezha beside him smiled in agreement.

"Couldn't have said it better myself!" Smiled the prince as most of the group we're huddled near a bonfire eating Pigsy's noodles.

MK and you we're next to each other before Macaque went behind you with chopsticks in hand, "You we're done with that right Lotus? Or maybe the kid can give me some?"

"Mac! Didn't you already have your fill?" You asked as MK moved his bowl away from the shadow monkey, "Well...acutally I was about to-" MK was cut off by his mentor as he grabbed his bowl.

"He was saving that for ME!~ 'Cause y'know? I'M his mentor!" Chimed in Wukong as he slurped the noodles quickly as you looked at the two monkeys in disbelief while MK had a 'really?' face not happy he didn't get his fair share.

"Here you are dear!" You said as you used your powers to get some more noodles to him as he smiled, "Thanks ma! You're the best!"

"Still the same Wukong. Doing whatever he wants with NO regard for others! I still can't believe Lotus is still married to you after all these years." Retorted Macaque as the three of you looked at the shadow monkey who stood up while Wukong glared at him while eating his noodles.

'Oh great...here we go...Again...' You internally groaned.

"Mm yeah! I'll keep that in mind next time you scheme with the enemy! And almost got us and MY BEAUTIFUL AND PERFECT wife D E D!" Retorted back Wukong as he too soon stood up himself and head butted the shadow monkey before he headbutted back.

The two snarled at each other as you tried to break it up, "Wukong, love...you need to calm down. Let's please try to get along...! For once...? Please...?"

"Uh...You know you two are the same right?" Interrupted MK waving a finger in between the two as you signalled him not to.

The two monkeys soon yelled back at the Monkie Kid, "I'M NOTHING LIKE HIM!!!"

"BOTH OF YOU! ENOUGH! DON'T BRING MY CHILD IN YOUR CHILDISH ANTICS!" You butted in as you caressed a hurt MK from the yelling of the demon monkeys.

The two only silently nodded knowing that in the past if they oppose or talk back, they will be punched to a realm far from the mortal realm.

Macaque soon groaned and moved back fom Wukong's forehead making him off balance but soon catch himself, "Hey! Where do you think you're going?!"

"Dunno. Somewhere where I can do some scheming probably! See y'a around MK. Lotus." Smiled Macaque as you nodded smiling.

"You be safe out there Macaque! Have a safe trip!" You smiled and waved goodbye to him as he teleported himself through his own shadow.

"Gah! I hate that guy so much! Always acting like he's so cool!" Groaned Wukong as he ate more of the noodles.

"Well. In some catergories. He is somewhat cooler than you honey!~" You said with a smile.

"HUH?! Peaches!~ Not funny!" said your husband a little hurt by your comment as you laughed.

"I'm only saying Wukong! Haha! Don't take it for granted dear~ Because you're amazing in lots of things~ And I mean...'other' than being a hero~" You flirted as he turned pink.

"Babe!~ The kid is here!" He whisper-yelled as you giggled.

"It's fine! No really! keep going! I totally can hear and understand you!~ Really! I can hear but not understand truthfully..." Said MK with a smile as he soon made a sad face before looking up to his mentor handing him the bowl.

"I know I can never make it up to you. Honestly. I-I never thought I'd live as long as I have. Let alone be someone's mentor. Turns out I'm not very good at it...I guess what I'm trying to say is...I'm sorry MK...For all of it..." Wukong finally apologized making you smile softly at the moment.

"It's okay...I can always get another bowl of noodles."

You and Wukong soon made a surprised face as you laughed, "HAHAHA!"

"What?! No! I'm not talking about the noodles I-urgh! Peaches. Stop laughing please...I mean I'm sorry for being a bad mentor and making you clean up after my mess with only (Y/N) to guide you through it!" Explained further Wukong as he held you by the waist with one arm since you are still laughing as the other had the bowl.

"I know. Sometimes I play dumb to lighten up the mood." Said truthfully MK as you stopped laughing finally.

But soon it was your husband's turn to laugh, "Aha! Me too bud...Me too." he soon brought you both to an embrace as you both watched the sky together.

*DING*

"MK! Order up!"

"On it boss!"

Tang was caught off guard as MK took one of his dumplings, "What?! Hey! MK! I'm calling your mom!"

"Sorry Tang!"

"The curious thing about legends...is the way we can continue to be moved by the same stories."

MK soon prepared his bag full of orders while his phone started up with the directions just as Mei popped up to drive with him making the man smile.

"We're conforted by familiar tales of friendship, courage, redemption."

Mei and MK sent some noodles to Sandy, and some other people as they left a special order for someone who picked it up curiously.

Macaque soon smiled at the picture with you, Wukong, him, MK and Mei we're in drawn. Handmade by MK himself.

"At times. The path of being a hero might seem unclear...And the story's may be chaotic...and directionless..."

Soon, Red Son was happily giving out fresh noodles to his family as they smiled in delight finally acknowledging their child as they ate at the table. While in another place, Jin and Yin were seen playing Ping-Pong but soon lost the ball making them run after it while arguing.

"Sometimes...it may seem as though we ended back where we began...but it's clear to see how much we've grown during our journey."

MK soon drove over to Flower Fruit Mountain and delivered some dumplings and noodles to Monkey King as you appeared smiling while soon hugging your son before Wukong joined in.

With the Monkey King's powers, he soon tripled the dumplings so the three of you could eat all together under the sundown.

"For altough the story is over. There's always room on the shelf for another!"
