Sandy was driving the van as Pigsy beside him was sleeping.

MK was soon seen drawing his friends as you and Mei poked your heads in to take a closer look at his masterpieces.

"So? What'cha doing MK?" Asked Mei, "Just doodling!" Answered simply the male.

"looking good bud!" Smiled Monkey King as he took some of the drawings from Mei's hands making her growl at him while you got them out of his hands and put them back in hers electing a cheer of justice from her while Wukong just simply took some more in his hands.

"Wonderful work dear! Aw! Is this me and you with Wukong together? This is cute!~" You cooed as Mei soon did as well.

"Like a happy family!~" She said.

"Ooh!~ Did you do any drawing of me MK?" Asked Tang who was soon on the ground making a cool pose while MK was not bothered in the slightest since he was too busy drawing.

"Yeah, they're over there." He answered blankly as you and Tang looked over to the trash can full of Tang drawings that seemed like failures.

"Oh my..." You said simply.

"I didn't like how any of them turned out though. It was just like...uh...hard to make you look...uh cool. Y'know? You get it." Explained MK as he missed the frown imprinted on Tang's face.

"WHAT?! Why I'm...I'm like the coolest guy you know..." Said Tang as you held his shoulder.

"Well to me you are very essential to the group for your knowledge and strength Tang. Really I've seen you do a lot of cool things. MK just wasn't there to see you in action. I'm sure in our next part of the journey he'll see how you really are." You smiled as he copied your face.

"Thanks (Y/N)."

"Hey, guys! Land ho!" Cried out Sandy.

"Woah!", "Wow!", "Amazing!", "Beautiful!" The group all marvelled at the lantern city.

"Heh. Hasn't changed a bit." Smirked Wukong at the city as it soon transitioned to them on the train.

"Okay! It HAS changed a bit..." He groaned as he was being squished by two men with one sleeping and the other reading a newspaper while you were with MK close to him so he won't get lost in the crowd of people.

The group finally arrived at the city, "Hm...If I'm correct...The last Ring of Samadhi should be around here somewhere! Oh hey!" Said Tang pulling out the map and pointing at the large lantern but soon cried to the group leaving him in the dust,

"Don't worry Tang! I'm sure the group would've listened if they weren't so occupied..." You sighed.

"I remember throwing the ring around here somewhere." Said Wukong out loud making you and Mei look at him since you were the closest to him.

THROW?!" You shrieked.

"I thought you 'HID' it?" Asked Mei emphasizing on the word 'hid'.

"Yeah! By throwing it! Into the crust of the earth where no one would find it. Keep up Dragon Pony Girl. And relax peaches! I'm sure it's very well hidden." Answered and reassured Wukong.

"Is there some kind of festival on?" Asked MK totally ignoring the conversation you, Mei and Wukong had.

"Looks like it." Stated Pigsy as he was butted by MK who was waving a lot to get the attention of the man behind the small market.

"So what's up? Is this a festival of some kind?" Asked MK looking around and using Pigsy's head as leverage.

"Of course! It's the Ring of the light festival!" Answered the man behind the market.
