The Storm Within

I was reluctant to write this chapter since it mostly covers MK's fear of his new powers and form. But without this episode, we wouldn't know how our protagonist feels.

Thanks to this episode, MK now realizes that he has to accept everything within him. That is WHY I am writing this chapter, for his development of what KIND of hero he wants to be and what he will do with his D E S T I N Y!

Anyways! After dropping all that lore, it's time for the episode "The Storm Within!" (MK will be presented in first person!)

MK looked in both directions, remembering his mentor's words about finding his path.

Mei looked excited for what was about to happen, "He's going to do it...! He really knows which way to go!"

You stood nearby with your daughter and husband, "I'm so proud of my eldest baby...!~" You were crying crocodile tears as Wukong held your hand, "Aw, Peaches, you're too adorable to cry."

Pigsy was confident in MK's initiative, "Lead us to the next stone, kid!"

"The right path...is..." He pointed to the left, then to the right, he continued to move his finger between the two said paths before concluding.

"I DON'T KNOW...!"

Everyone except you fell to the ground comically, you blinked the tears away, while Yang facepalmed.

Disappointed in her big brother, "My poor baby!" You pouted. Yang made a frightful expression, fearing you were going to drown them in your tears.

"WHAT?!/Aw...come on...!" The group complained.

MK turned to face the team, "I mean, we got lucky with the first stone. We wanted a map or a-or a magic compass or SOMETHING! Normally, we get a preguffin...BUT WE SKIPPED TO THE FULL GUFFIN!"

Pigsy was not amused, "Kid takes ONE how-to-write seminar and now won't shut it with my McGuffins," he threw a pointed look towards Tang.

Mei held his shoulder for comfort, "It's okay, MK. We're figuring it out as we go! Together!" She gave him a side hug which he got out of.

"But we can't keep doing that!" He argued, walking forward, "We don't know where the other stones are or what to do with them if we ever find them," he pulled out the first stone, "We're just walking into chaos..."

The group started to speak at the same time while the world around them started to break apart. While that happened you winced, feeling a sharp pain in your abdomen, "Argh...!"

Yang immediately noticed and called out to her father, "Ba...!"

Wukong turned to see you hunched over, about to fall, immediately, he held your form, "Peaches! Are you alright? Oh! Who am I kidding, of course, you're not!" He used his Nimbus cloud for you to sit on.

Yang stayed in the scarf you had used to carry her, "Ma...!"

"I'm fine...Really...It isn't that bad...!" You smiled weakly, trying to stand on your own but almost fell making your husband catch you, "No, (Y/N), you're not. Maybe you should've stayed back at the temple with Sunshine."
