"Serena!"
Ash stopped in front of Serena, Bonnie close behind. Clemont brought up the rear, gasping for breath. The raven-haired young man brought his fist up in the air. "You and your Pokémon did amazing! You deserve the win!"
"Thanks, Ash." Serena blushed, bringing her hands to her chest.
"I wish Emma was here, though." Bonnie sighed, crossing her arms. "She missed it!"
Clemont shook his head, knowing their friend. "I'm sure she was watching, Bonnie."
"Madam Serena?"
Everyone turned to see a Showcase worker walk up. She stopped in front of Serena, holding something out for her to take. "I was told to give these to you. She said that you would know who it was once you read the note."
Ash looked at the glow stick and the note. "A glow stick and a note, huh? Wonder who it's from..."
"The glow stick is blue, so we know it's from someone who voted for me." Serena responded, taking the objects into her hands.
"Read the note, Serena!" Bonnie yelled, jumping up and down. "I want to see who it's from!"
"If this helps... the person who gave me those had blonde hair and blue eyes." The worker responded. She bowed, walking away. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I'll take my leave."
The group looked at each other, trying to figure out who it was.
"Blonde hair and blue eyes... That could be—Wait a minute..." Serena widened her eyes, rushing to unfold the note.
"There's no way..."
Ash looked at Serena. "What is it, Serena?"
"This is from Emma. She was here." Serena looked up from the note, her honey-blonde hair tickling her in the face. She looked at the reactions of her friends, which were all various degrees of surprise.
"What!?"
Bonnie was the first to snap out of her surprise. She jumped up and down, excited. "Read it, Serena!"
Dedenne agreed with its trainer, giving off an excited cry as well.
Smiling to herself, Serena looked at her friends. They were the ones who supported her through thick and thin... her other family while she was on the road.
Serena nodded, taking a deep breath as she read the note.
