There was something freeing about attacking Eric as Octavia replayed the situation in her head as she drove further down a dirt road. The current location she was looking for wasn't the Fellowship's address but a local witch coven that may be able to help her. With windows down and the moonroof wide open, Octavia could feel the sun on her skin and the wind in her hair. Miles away from the heart of Dallas, everything was open to her as Octavia slowed down her vehicle's speed when a small house appeared. The old house matched the scenery around it with chipped paint, rusty fixtures, broken stairs working up to the central porch, and the wrap-around porch needing wood repairs. To any human, it was just an old house, but to a witch, it was the perfect cover-up. Parking her car just beyond the old white picket fence, Octavia stepped out and took in the fresh air and the scene.

Using her magic to feel all around her, Octavia could feel strong barriers protecting the house and its inhabitants. And with its inhabitants, she could sense four people. Octavia knew covens ran small in modern times but found it strange to see them so far away from any city. Throughout time, it was known to all witch covens that if smaller covens were to stray away from large cities, it signaled exile. The closer Octavia walked towards the house, the further her memory searched, realizing that witch covens didn't stay in Dallas for too long because it was a vampire city. Opening the gate with just a light touch, Octavia stepped through the barrier easily, believing her magic was welcomed in a place such as this. But that didn't stop the doubt that raced through her body. Her old magic may have been welcomed, but it didn't mean she wasn't. A few moments after her arrival, she feared for her hybrid life. Walking up to the door on wobbly wood boards, she opened the screen door that almost ripped from its hinges and knocked lightly. The door flew open as a young black girl appeared before Octavia, looking at the hybrid with an unhappy expression. Octavia could only guess by the change in the atmosphere that these people didn't get visitors often or at all.

"Who the hell are you?" The girl, who looked about 12 or 13 years old, asked Octavia with an attitude that matched her age. Lucky for the hybrid, being around humans for so long made her tolerate such attitudes without getting angry.

"Someone looking for a Sofie Delacroix?" Octavia pulled out a small piece of paper with Sofie's name on it, given to the hybrid years ago by another small coven that had fled Dallas. Technically the tiny amount of paper listed the very few witch covens left in Texas.

"I asked who the hell you are, not who you're looking for!" The girl practically screamed as another girl appeared, a sister with the same face, just older, Octavia gathered.

"I don't know who the hell you are, but you aren't welcome here-" Fear was arising within the two young women as Octavia babbled.

"Oh, but the magic I brought through that gated barrier is?" Octavia questioned with the same attitude as they were giving. The girls' eyes widened as the realization of Octavia being a witch hit them. Unfortunate for the young witches, they had no idea who or what she was.

"We want no part of whatever coven you want us to join! Now leave us alone!" Seeing into the minds of these young witches made Octavia's dead heart shatter as they slammed the door in her face, leaving her in conflict about what to do next. They feared her because they felt how powerful her magic was. Octavia could only think of one thing to do, to show them she meant no harm to her fellow and future witches.

"Motus" Octavia casted the telekinesis spell to knock down the front door as it slammed against their entryway floor. The young witches froze in pure shock as Octavia stepped right inside, signaling her status. It was moments like this Octavia was overwhelmed with joy because her magic was stronger than her vampire side. Bringing her hand to wrap around the other, Octavia stood their with grace and patience. She didn't fear the fireball that the edlest sister created before a yell came from behind the two sisters.
