Octavia leaned against her SUV parked outside multiple buildings that were The Fellowship of the Sun. A few people dressed in all grey clothes approached her a few times, asking if she needed assistance. Then, kindly replying that Octavia was waiting for someone, the groups of people wandered off without another word, just gentle smiles. Octavia could almost puke at their reactions. All she saw were humans filled to the brim with fake lives and stupid lies. Octavia wished she could openly use her magic to cast a giant truth spell amongst the humans here but fought against the urge to take action. Taking a deep breath, she exhaled and thought of Godric. Her locator spell from the day before had worked, and now she was here. But where was he? None of the buildings were familiar to her, and the last thing she wanted to do was to sneak around or ask for help. No, she needed to do this safely and quickly. And not just that, Octavia needed to find Godric before Eric could.
On the way over to the Fellowship, Octavia's phone had gone off repeatedly by Eric's number and was still vibrating on the passenger seat inside as she watched cars go by. By now, Octavia could feel her fellow progeny's emotions. Eric was still pissed at what she did, but also, Octavia felt Godric's disappointment in not following a simple order for the safety of her species. She understood their harsh and adverse reactions, but the hybrid did it out of love for her vampire brother and maker. Also, Octavia needed to prove, not only to Eric but to all vampires, what she was capable of being to them...an ally. In modern times, witches and vampires still didn't get along very well, as Salene had spoken to her about the coven's recent attacks and Sofie's kidnapping by Stan. Octavia jolted forward like a hand resting on her left shoulder as if something had put pressure against her body. Turning around, she saw nothing but her reflection through tinted windows. Octavia could feel Godric's presence surrounding her, trying to focus on what the pressure was, like a halo of light. It felt peaceful as her magic settled from sudden fear a second ago, and all she could do now was find him.
"I don't care how long it takes. I'll find you Godric." She whispered to herself as she leaned off her SUV when Sookie stepped out of a smaller vehicle, with an unknown human greeting her from the opposite side.
Hiding behind the SUV, Sookie walked away from where Octavia was as she tried to silence her thoughts, knowing Sookie could easily read her from a short distance. Sookie and the unnamed man walked towards the Reverend's wife, Sara Newlin, with kind greetings. Octavia's southern accents hit a nerve as her friend walked further away from where she stood. For a moment, Octavia completely forgot Sookie also had the same idea of infiltrating the Fellowship. Hesitating for a few more moments on whether to stay by Sookie's side or go off alone, Octavia shook her head and continued with her action plan.
"If Sookie needs help, she'll scream." Octavia reminded herself as the hybrid stepped away from the vehicle and walked off alone towards various buildings. Still, she tried hard not to stray too far away from Sookie, just in case. With quick work, Octavia cast an invisibility spell over her body to make sure no one would recognize her, including the Stackhouse siblings, if she should run into them.
The campus was massive, almost like a college, as numerous groups of people ran past her as she walked the opposite way. Octavia felt lucky her spell was working but also knew if she made a sound or touched anything, the magic would vanish. So as people rushed past her, she froze on the spot before continuing, looking for any clue as to where Godric was hiding. Taking in the scenery before her, Octavia could see some event was being prepared for but couldn't identify what it was. Not that she planned to stick around for it. Using her magic secretly, she felt Sookie's presence on the opposite side of where Octavia was and knew she must've been safe.
Sookie was calmer than how Octavia was feeling at the moment. Anxiety rushed over Octavia the further she got away from Godric's presence, realizing she must've been going the wrong way. Octavia could feel Godric wasn't too far away when she honed in on Sookie's location. With the fact of her invisibility spell still hiding her away from the human eye, Octavia smirked at her capabilities. She raced off in broad daylight, using her vampire abilities to get closer to Sookie's location. In small moments like these, Octavia did appreciate her vampire maker for giving her a second chance at life.
