Before I begin, I had originally thought that this would be a Percy Jackson/Harry Potter crossover but I don't know anymore. I still think it would be a good idea but what do you guys think?

Also, I am dedicating a song to each chapter and when I'm not lazy and go on the computer i'll put them on the side.

Anyways,

Half blood hero - 2

I woke up and immediately shut my eyes from the brightness.

"Hey," A familiar voice said. I opened my eyes, slowly this time, and looked at the person. Grover! I jumped up and hugged him, ignoring the searing pain ripping up my sides. He hugged me back but not too tight as to hurt my sides even more.

"I'll be right back. Drink that while I'm gone," Grover said and pulled away, helping me back to my bed. I nodded my head and relaxed drinking the awesome drink. It tasted like fudge brownies!

Pretty soon, Grover walked back into the room with a different boy, the one from the night earlier.

"Hey, I'm Aaron. Your half brother and cabin leader," He said and I looked at him confused. I held up one finger as if to say 'Wait one moment' then turned to Grover.

To him I signed, 'Get me a pen and paper please,' and smiled at him. He nodded and left to get it. Aaron was looking at me funny, like he was unsure about something.

"Can you-" He stopped looking at me to check if it was okay. I nodded yes for him to keep talking, "Talk?" He finished. I gave him a sad smile and shook my head no.

"What happened?" He asked in his deep voice. I held up one finger and pointed to the door.

"Grover knows?" He asked again and I nodded. Just then, Grover walked in and handed me the pen and paper.

'Hi. My name is Caden Thompson. I am 15 and I like the colour green. I can't talk but I can use sign language and writing.' I wrote then showed him.

"Aaron Casey. 17. Blue. You promised you'd tell me what happened," He pointed out and I wrote back simply, 'My father was not the nicest man.' He gave Grover a look to say 'is she serious' and Grover nodded his head.

"Alrighty! Well, can you walk? Because we should probably be getting you settled!" Grover said happily. Suddenly something dawned on me and my eyes widened. I quickly wrote down 'Rope?' And showed Grover. He rolled his eyes and pulled a piece of rope out from his back pocket and handed it to me. I gave him a thankful look and he rolled his eyes.

You see, my therapist thought that since I was always fidgety, if maybe my hands were doing something, I wouldn't be as fidgety. Because of this, I can make multiple different knots, make a rope look like something, and occasionally spell things with it.

"Where would you be without me!" He joked. 'Dead' I wrote back.

"That's not even funny," he said seriously. 'But true!' I wrote back.

"You two are probably the weirdest people I know!" Aaron said while shaking his head.

We walked through camp with kids stopping and staring. I was kind of used to it since I was always moving schools but this was on a whole new level! I nervously made things with the rope in my hands and tried to pay attention to what Grover and Aaron were saying but it was hard with all these strangers staring at me.

Basically, what they told me, was that Hephaestus hasn't had any daughters for three hundred years and that I was part of a big prophecy. No pressure, right? I just chose not to worry about it though because I was more worried about what these kids would think of me.
