"Where have you been?!" Aaron shouted at me. I shrugged.

"Don't give me that crap, Caden! You know otherwise you wouldn't have that silly smile on your face!" Aaron yelled again and I flinched. He was starting to sound like my dad.

"I WAS REALLY WORRIED!! It's your first day here that you are conscious and you come in late!" I flinched back and waited for the hit to come but nothing did.

"Aaron calm down! You're scaring her!" Someone said and I felt arms wrap around me.

"Sorry," Aaron muttered into my hair, "I was just... worried." I nodded because I couldn't talk (Duh).

"Everybody just go to sleep, alright? We'll start over in the morning," He said and everyone started going to bed. I stood there awkwardly.

"Caden that's your bed," Aaron said and pointed to a top bunk against the wall. I smiled at him and climbed to the top. I crawled under the blankets and closed my eyes, falling asleep almost instantly.

~~~~~
"Shh! You'll wake her!" Someone whisper shouted. I heard muffled laughing and was immediately suspicious.
"On three! Ready?" Someone said.
"One," Someone said.
Wait for it...
"Two," Somebody else said excitedly.
I bolted upright and started flailing my arms around like a crazy person.
"Ow! Dang you have a hard head!" Someone said when my head collided with theirs. I rubbed my forehead in pain but then began laughing at the sight before me. The boys were scattered all over the cabin floor, a little disoriented from my attack and Aaron was flopped on the bed beside me. He had obviously climbed up in order to scare me but I had hit his head with mine.
I laughed hard which caused the rest of the guys to crack up. Apparently it's funny to see a mute girl laugh. I eventually laughed myself right off the top bunk and crashed on the floor. I frowned but laughed even harder, ignoring the pain.
When the laughter eventually subsided, Aaron said it was time for breakfast so we had to go get dressed and all that.
We got to breakfast and I saw Nico smile at me so I smiled back.
"Stay away from him, Cade. He's bad news. He's a son of Hades," Jason, one of my half brothers whispered in my ear. I looked at him as if to say 'what's your point?' But he ignored my look.
After we had dished out and made our offerings (which I was still getting comfortable with) we were sitting and eating and making jokes when the table suddenly got quiet and I saw all my half brothers looking at me with quizzical looks.
"What?" I signed to them.
"Well, they asked how you communicate but now they see that it's sign language!" A familiar voice said behind me.
I quickly turned around and jumped out of my seat to hug Grover. I started signing random things to him and he looked at me confused.
"You just called me a potato bug," He said.
'Sorry, it's been a while!' I signed.
"Like, a day, you weenie!"
'That's a long time!'
