We all ran back to the common room excitedly and there was a party going on already. Apparently the wizards had told everyone that this was happening tonight and they wanted to party. That was fine by me! These guys sure knew how to party!
"Surprise!" Everybody yelled when we walked in. I laughed because you could hear them from the other side of the castle but still acted surprised.
I was immediately handed a drink and Nico lead me to the dance floor.
"Hey!" Someone said and tapped my shoulder. I looked back to see the girl from before. Isabella?
"Hi!" I said back and smiled.
"So you actually can talk! I thought people were just joking about that!" she said.
"Nope! It's true!" I laughed.
"You have a pretty voice though!" she complimented me.
"Thanks!" I smiled at her.
"Well, I'm going to go dance! I'll see you around!" She said and left.
After that I danced with Annabeth, Amy, Lauryn, and Lindsey for a bit. We were all laughing and having a good time until Nico came up and pulled me away.
"Having fun?" He asked me while gently swinging our hands back and forth as we walked down the hallway.
"Yes! I love talking! I don't know how I survived this long without talking. I mean, I'm not upset or anything, it's just that talking is so much more efficient! Oh my gods! What do you think Chiron will say when we get back to camp? Do you think I should Iris Message back and tell them or wait and see their faces in pers-" I ranted but was cut off by him kissing me.
"You were rambling," He smiled softly and rested his forehead against mine, bending down slightly because he's so tall.
"Sorry," I muttered and looked down while blushing.
"It's fine. I love your voice," he said softly. If possible, my blush got even bigger.
"Your so cute when you blush," He told me. By this time im sure my face was resembling a tomato.
"Thanks," I whispered and bit my lip. He kissed me again then pulled back and looked at me.
"Caden, I have to tell you something," he said. I looked up at him curiously but saw no signs of what he was going to say.
"Yes?" I asked.
"I think I'm-" He started but was cut off.
"There you guys are! We were starting to think you guys died!" Amy gushed and ran over to us. She grabbed my hand and started pulling me away, "Come on! We're playing spin the bottle!"
I shot an apologetic look to Nico who looked... I don't know. Somewhere between a mix of disappointed, sad, and mad. Was he mad at me?
Amy dragged me back into the common room where the party was still going on then into the boys dorms.
"It's the only room boys and girls are allowed in," Amy explained and I nodded my head.
"Finally! Now we can start!" Jake said as Amy made me sit beside her. I looked around the circle and saw a few people I didn't know but a few I did.
