Caden's PoV
"Hello!" Andy said happily.
"Screw off!" Asher sneered and stood in front of me.
"Temper, temper!" Andy smiled evilly.
I pushed Asher out of the way and shakily stood up.
"I thought we were friends," I said and glared at him.
"Ah yes, well. When was the last time we had an actual conversation?" he gave me a questioning look.
I scrunched up my eyebrows, trying to think of when it was.
"Exactly my point," he said, spacing out between each word.
"It's not entirely my fault!" I argued.
"True. However that worked it perfectly in my favor. No one would suspect me! especially since I've been 'hopelessly in love with you' for quite some time now. Anyways who would expect someone whose trying to help find you?" he asked and gave me an evil look.
"Wait... What?" Juliana asked, confused and Asher had a confused look on his face.
Andy sighed, "Ugh,you guys sure aren't the brightest bunch we've ever had here. I'm going to pretend to look for you with the rest of your stupid friends but I'll actually be diverting their course.
Juliana and Asher looked away while I, on the other hand, glared at Andy.
"Well!" Andy said and clapped his hands together, shocking all of us, "This has been fun but I must be off! I've got a search to screw up!" He laughed evilly and left.
"Alright, next time, don't talk so much. Trust me, he'll hurt you," Juliana advised and I nodded.
"Thanks for the heads up," I said quietly and she nodded.
She walked over to the bed and lay down while I stood up and started walking around the cell.
"Hey, so uh, Caden... Got any uh... Special Powers?" Asher asked and gave Juliana a look who shrugged.
"No. None that I know of anyways. Why do you ask?" I said and gave them a weird look, having seen their exchange.
"Uh... no reason," Asher said and Juliana rolled her eyes.
"Just tell her," she said, "We're all here for the same reason so she's got the right to know."
"Pass," Asher said quickly and I smiled.
"Ugh, you're so incompetent. Come here, Caden," Juliana said and sat up. I walked over to her and sat down.
"Close your eyes," she said and I did as I was told.
"Now focus on warmth. Mainly, fire," she said.
"Okay?" I said confused.
"Are you thinking of fire?"
"Ye-"
"No you're not," she sighed.
"Fire's pretty much the last thing on my mind right now," I said bluntly an heard Asher laugh somewhere to the side.
"Just do it!" Juliana said and I could practically hear the eye roll accompanied by the sentence.
"Nike!" I said.
"What?"
"You can't use Nike's slogan without saying Nike," I shrugged and smiled when I heard her sigh.
