~~~~Harry's POV~~~~
We were all sitting in the Great Hall and McGonagal had just finished telling us about these demi-gods that were coming and the exchange program thing that we were doing with them. I thought it was pretty cool! I mean, there's a whole other species similar to us!
Now McGonagal was blabbering on and on about manners, etiquette, and whatever else but we just zoned her out.
"Potter, Weasley's, and Miss Granger, please come with me!" She said. Ron, Ginny, Hermione and I followed her to her office and sat down in the chairs in front of the desk.
"As I just told you, ten demi-gods are coming and I am making it your duty to make them feel welcome here at Hogwarts. They didn't know about us until late last night so you will have to be very patient with them. They are coming this afternoon so would you please, help them?" She almost begged.
"For sure, Professor!" Hermione said happily.
"Do we have a choice?" Ron whispered to me and I laughed a little bit but covered it up with a cough.
"Well, they will be arriving any minute now so let's go meet our guests!" McGonagal said. We followed her to the lake and waited with the rest of the students. They must have been coming here when we were talking with McGonagal.
Suddenly we saw ten monsters racing towards us just over the horizon on the ocean.
"I'll go meet them. Stay here! Prefects, it is your duty to make them stay!" McGonagal barked at us all. Man, these kids coming sure we're stressing her out! She walked away to go meet them and we were all left standing there awkwardly.
"I wonder what they will be like," Hermione wondered a loud. That was all it took for everyone to start their own conversations until we saw McGonagal walking over to us followed by ten kids ranging from roughly twelve to eighteen year olds.
She asked us what the other name for a demi-god was which only Hermione and a few others knew. *Cough* Overacheivers *Cough*
McGonagal told them to introduce themselves and say a few things about themselves and one guy stepped up.
"Hi, I'm Percy Jackson," Percy said and I saw a few girls check him out. "My dad is Poseidon, god of the sea. My weapon is my bronze sword," He said and took it out, uncapping it. There were a few gasps from us but he ignored them and continued, "And here is my demonstration of my powers," He turned around and put his hand out, closing his eyes and made the lake rise up out of the water.
We all gave him polite applause except for the girls that were cheering quite loudly.
Another Demi-God stepped forwards and introduced himself. Again, not without being eyed like a piece of meat from all the girls. He did this cool thing where he 'summoned' the dead and made them play with a girls hair. I didn't really pay attention to the girl though because I was looking at the dead guy.
Next, a girl went. Her name was Drew and she made all us boys practically drool and the girls green with envy. Then there was Jake, Amy, Lindsey and Lauryn, Andy, and Aaron. There was one person left so we all quickly scanned the demi-gods for the person that didn't go and they stopped on a girl. Pretty soon every witch and wizard was looking at her.
And holy dang. She was gorgeous. Even prettier than Drew. She had long blonde hair to her bum with pink ends. She had delicate features but a look that was almost... Annoyed? She seemed like she new something we didn't and that made me slightly nervous. She had this thing about her that said 'don't mess with me' but was still incredibly hot.
