"This is the train station", explained Lu, leading us to a small red brick building at the edge of the forest. "Any minute now train will come and we can get on it." To our surprise, the train that came to the train station was Rusty.
"Hop on and I'll take you on a tour of this railway.", he said. "This railway is called the Skarloey Railway. It's a very old railway with an interesting history. "This railway was founded in 1803 as a horse-driven railway and became a steam railway 60 years later, when it became its currant name, after the oldest surviving engine on the island. His name is Skarloey. His name means lake in the woods in Sudric. Let me take you to see him." So we went to see Skarloey. He was a red saddle tank engine who looked very important.
"You must be Peter Rabbit.", he said. He had a deep voice with a funny accent. I had never heard a foreign accent before besides a Scottish one. And it was was funnier than Mr. McGregor's Scottish accent. I started to laugh and laugh and laugh until Skarloey stopped me.
"Don't tease me about my accent! I am the oldest and wisest engine on Sodor and I am Welsh! That's why I have this cool accent!", Skarloey yelled. I had never heard a Welsh accent before and it sounded pretty cool. I decided not to tease him after that.
Then, Rusty showed us the Blue Mountain Quarry. "This is the Blue Mountain Quarry, where we sometimes work."
"What a quarry?", asked Benjamin.
"A quarry is a place where we get stones to build things like buildings.", explained Rusty. "It's really cool. Let me give you a tour of the place." It was very blue and rocky and was very noisy with rocks and explosions. It was so cool how the engines loaded up on slate and transported it to other places.
After that, we crossed the Peel Godred Bridge and ended up at Ulfstead Castle.
"This is Ulfstead Castle.", announced Rusty. "In medieval times, it used to be owned by King Godred. Now it is owned by Sir Robert Norramby. Now you look tired. I must take you home."
And so he did, me being happy to learn all about this cool place.
