Oliver stood before us like an exiled duke coming back from his exile to take the throne away from the evil duke that userped it. His emerald green paint glowed, glossed, and glistened in the sun like a ripe, plump, round, Mediterranean olive, growing on a glistening, regal olive tree somewhere in Cyprus, I don't know. His large, fleshy nose look very dignified on his handsome face and when he spoke, I felt a million colorful butterflies in my tiny bunny stomach. This felt strange. Is this what gay love feels like? I know that straight love feels pretty airy, but am I experiencing gay love? Maybe I'm bisexual. I mean, I've had crushes on cute bunny girls before but this was different. I am in love with a male engine. No, it's definitely a feeling of relief because the railway will finally be saved now that Oliver is here.

"Hello there, very cute animals.", he said in the sexiest, most gorgeous, West Country accent. "Did I ever tell you about my daring escape from the scrapyard?"

"You can tell us about that" Pigling Bland told him. "But you have to take us to the coal mine to get us some coal. The coal at the Skarloey Railway was badly poisoned and all the engines are really sick. The railway needs your help. You might be its only hope."

"OK", said Oliver. "But can I tell these animals about my daring escape from the scrapyard while I'm taking them to the coal mines?"

"Yes you can", said Pigling. And then we went to the coal mines. During the ride Oliver told us how he was left in the scrapyard by a cruel Mainland dictator. He told us how he hid there to escape the scrappy machines. He told us how a kind black Scottish engine named Douglas had rescued him and helped him escape. He told us how he had followed Douglas and escaped from the scrapyard to Sodor at the crack of dawn and soon we were at the coal mines. As soon as we got there, I was amazed at how much coal there was in the mines and immediately, me and my friends loaded up on coal like it was gold and food fit for a king. We crammed our clothes with this coal and coupled as many truckfuls as we could to Oliver. Then we went back to the sheds, happy that we had completed our mission and helped our good friend, Rheneas.
