So I decides to take Rusty's advice and decided to prove to everyone that I was actually a good guy. I decided to work my positive character traits to the maximum level. I decided to help my family all the time, no matter the cost. I decided to get more determined and perseverant by trying things again and again even if something was hard.
One time, Flopsy was sick, so I had to make dinner. I had never done it before. But I've seen Flopsy cook vegetables, so I figuered it must be the easiest thing to do. I got some vegetables, and a cooking pot and turned on the stove to 350 degrees. I put the vegetables in the cooking pot and read while waiting for them to cook. 45 minutes later, I smelled something bad, like burnt rubber. At first, I though maybe someone was burning trash outside and ignored it. But it got too annoying so I followed where the smell was coming from. The smell was coming from the vegetables and they were on fire. I started to panic, got the fire extinguisher, and doused the veggies with it. But as soon as I saw that the veggies were black and burnt, I declared them too inedible for any rabbit to eat. But I didn't give up. I had to do this for Flopsy and my family. So I got some new vegetables, set the stove to 200 degrees and payed close attention to them. Soon enough they were done and my family congratulating me for not giving up on making dinner, even though it was hard.
The morning after the vegetable incident, I got on all the engines that came by the wood and explored new locations(my favorite was Kirk Machan). I had a lot of fun and decided to take Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle, Mr. Jeremy Fisher, Tom Kitten, Moppet, Mittens, Tabitha Twitchett, Jemima Puddle-Duck, her sister Rebecca, and her brother Mr. Drake to the Blue Mountain Quarry for a hike. We had a lot of fun hiking up and down the blue rocks and mountains, eating lunch while watching the the engines and machines work together in the quarry.
But when we started to hike back, Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle tripped on a big blue rock and started to dangle off a steep cliff. She tried to pull herself back up, but she was too old and weak so she just dangled off the edge of the cliff, shooting out prickles and squealing. The Puddle-Ducks tried to grab her but their beaks were too round and slippery. I knew I had to do something. Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle was a good friend of mine and my friends and has done so much for us. So I did the only thing that was right for me to do. Using the kittens as a long yowling scratching cat rope, I hooked myself on to Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle. The cats began to pull and I pulled Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle safely back up. She thanked me, said I was a brave rabbit, and said that the wood would be in danger without me.
I am so pleased! People recognize my good character traits! I have to tell Rusty and Rheneas about this!
