As we went into the wood that Rusty gave to us, we were met with shock and awe. The wood was so big that it could fit one hundred animal civilizations. The trees were so tall that they could fit one thousand animal neighborhoods. There was enough fruit, vegetables, and meat to feed ten thousand animal mouths. The sky sparkled like shiny aquamarines and the golden sun. made the forest as warm as a hot cross bun. I was amazed. This engine had given me a forest fit for the gods. We had to thank him! We had to! We thought and thought about a way to thank Rusty but no one had a good idea. Finally I thought of the best idea yet.
"We should thank Rusty forever!", I announced. "We are so grateful for this wood!"
"But how should we do it?", asked Benjamin Bunny.
"We will worship him.", I replied, "We will sacrifice oil to him because that is what he eats and we'll sing songs and dance dances about him."
And so we did. I made a drum out of a willow tree and began to play it rapidly. The other animals danced about an oil mine that we found and went, "HOO! GAH! HOO! GAH!" Then Benjamin struck the oil mine with an ax and soon oil gushed out into an oil tank. Then Flopsy and Mopsy put the oil on a pump cart and took it to Rusty's shed.
"This is for you", they said to Rusty. "For giving us that beautiful wood. We love it."
"Thank you!", exclaimed Rusty when they gave him the oil. "I really love oil and I can't live without it!"
"We're happy you like it.", replied Flopsy and Mopsy and went back to the wood. The first oil-giving ceremony had been a success and we. were looking forward for many more to come.
