A pair a little grey eyes stared up at me. "Awwww!" I said and pulled the small golden puppy out of his box.
"A puppy!" I said looking up at them as I pushed the box away and pulled the puppy onto my lap. It was a total chick flick scene. I laughed at the little sweater they had on him to protect him from the cold January air outside.
The little golden retriever licked my face and I giggled. "He's so cute!" I said as I rubbed behind his ears and he yipped in response.
"We thought you might like him." Hayes said as he came and sat down on the bed with me and my little buddy. "Is this what you where smiling about over there?" I asked Nash.
"Yeah. I saw the puppy in a window at a store the other day and I asked them to go see if it was still there." He said and I gave him a hug.
I leaned up and gave Hayes a hug and Cameron bent down so I could give him a hug too. "He's gonna need a name though." Cameron said.
"How about Bubby, after Luke from down the street? He used to call me Sissy and I'd call him Bubby when he came to babysit or hang out." I said. "Cute." Nash said and patted Bubby on the back.
Hayes and Cameron went back downstairs and my little buddy turned the tv on. "Internet singing sensation and famous viner, Nash Grier's, soon to be wife, Zoella Mells faced a huge heartbreak today after her mother died of brain cancer." the woman on the screen said.
Nash quickly turned the tv off. "I'm sorry." he said quietly. Bubby nuzzled into the crook of my arm and was quickly asleep.
Nash turned my head to the side. He slowly kissed my lips and cupped my chin with his hand as he propped himself up with the other. He leaned his forehead against mine and closed his eyes. "I love you Zoe." He said. "I love you too Hamilton." I said and smiled.
He kissed my lips again and pulled me on top of him. Bubby fell out of my arm but continued to sleep. I smiled into the kiss and felt him smile too.
